All this confusion is caused by false teachings as a plan for salvation.

Unless a person obeys the Apostoles teachings & EXAMPLE they are not saved.

In the gospels "" Accepting "" the Lord Jesus Christ simply meant believing He was the son of God.

Humanity was still under the law at that time.

Altho Jesus death was for redemption from the law mankind was still under the law until the Holy Spirit was poured out in Acts 2nd chapter .

I am too a preacher`s wife and am struggling with the same thing. I admire your courage as I am terrified to tell my husband that I may or may not be saved. He is a wonderful man but don`t want to do anything to hurt his ministry. Please pray that I will find the courage and strength to do something about this.

Like you and like Christy here.........I have those doubts. I can't remember when I was saved. I go to church and the fellowships. I know the word, walk the walk and talk the talk but now I am questioning my baptism when I was 11 at a church camp because others were doing it.

confess that i am not saved and that i want to publicly be saved? then baptised. i grew up in a small church with my grandmother until around age 12, I have deceived myself also, I have anger, rage, jelousy, etc. like christy said. so i must not be saved. Thank you.

Praise God Ashley! The Decision you are making is not an easy one, but it is the the only right one to make. Jesus died on the cross and rose from the dead to save us from our sins. Romans 5:8 says that "God proves his own love for us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us!" And Romans 10:13 says that "Whoever calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved!"

Ashley, if you believe Jesus dies to save you from your sin - and trust him as Lord of your life - you will be saved

I am 21 years old and the mother of a 2 year old little girl. Her father and I have been together for four years now, but I refuse to marry him out of fear and not being sure if he's the one for me, just because we had a child together. Recently we've been attending a church as a family and I've struggled with trying to remember when i was saved. I cannot pin point the date, time, or my age as to when I was first saved. So I must not really be. the only thing lefet to do is confess.
