I like the videos and there is a lot of info in them but one thing I have to correct because we've kept bees for years and sold the honey - the was is only heated up enough to make the honey soft so that it can be spun out. The wax is then put back into the hives. It is never (to my knowledge) ground up into the honey. That would be an awful waste and any beekeeper would be foolish to take the wax from his bees. He'd be poorly managing his bees since it takes a lot for bees to make the wax.
@elbanydaer: I think Daniel is talking about non-organic, mass production honey production, I cannot see anyone with common sense doing this, but we live in an age of fools...
Ok, so cast iron skillets are bad, now?? Cause I just bought one 3 wks ago when I was researching Macrobiotics. They suggest to never use aluminum pots, but rather cast iron or stainless steel. He is cooking in a pot on this video. I wonder if it is stainless steel.
I mean I just discovered this guy by accident last night, and I am blown away by his knowledge. I already want to change my diet "yet again". Don't think I will be able to buy a vita-mix anytime soon though.
I like that he is trying to TEACH something rather than SELL something. The selling will come when the TEACHING is complete - to complete one must READ,LISTEN, HANDS-On, and Question/ FEEDBACK.
could you post the recipes ?...well, the rough basics of this mixture ..I realize its a trial n error thing for taste etc but ye, post the ingredients please.
I'm 59 years old, been in whole foods since 1970, I know alot, but this realitively young man offers a weath of knowledge, and fills the gaps of minutia I have always blown off in the past because of my hippie mind...
I say this after watching two dozen of his short video... the boy if prieety cool... Thank u Daniel
oh ... and you're worse than either of them! What's this SILLY, SILLY thing of always comparing???? Get out of that! It is something we were told as children, and it's the way into more and more suffering ... let go of the ego, man!
I can't remember where, but I did hear Daniel say that some oxidation is good and that you don't want to overload yourself with anti-oxidants; rather, you want a balance.
And when he talks about balance, he generally refers to the elements model--i.e. balancing the elements of fire, earth, air, water, and quintessence (spirit).
It's about having a mindful approach--a conscious, balanced strategy for the food you eat (earth), air you breathe (air), sun (fire), and water you drink (water).

I'd say they both have some worth-listening-to things to say.
From what I've seen of them (I've seen more of Daniel that I have of David), they seem to say similar things when speaking about the same subjects.
I'd say they're part of the same community, just with different (albeit complimentary) approaches and messages.

Isn't some oxidation good? Like when germs are oxidized by ozone, hydrogen peroxide, MMS, DMSO, etc?
