Cell-phones for kids is absurd! Sure that makes kids jubilant, but it makes them getting addicted to texting and such. Kids should be kids, twelve year olds should be playing with dolls not pampering themselves with make-up. Soon you are going to have a twelve year old not studying but staying up late texting! I'm not saying all of them are like this but most of them are.Kids are going to ignore you, text all the time, and get bad grades. The world has become lugubrious. I'm not American.

@minifini123 Iphone might be waste if you are going to text, might want to look for one with the keypad. If you are going to use games/apps more then texting an iphone might be a good idea. But i think its a waste for a 10 year old. Iphones are like 400 dollars. Im 14 and my phone was less then 50. If you do get an iphone get a 2 year plan so the next phone you get [2 years] will be cheaper
