  • It's bluegrass!

  • does anyone know if there's a tab somewhere for this?

  • Wow, that was amazing. Good job, you just made my day.

  • Is this bluegrass or clawhammer? I am taking Banjo lessons soon and I don't know which style I should choose. Thanks!!!

  • It's what's called melodic style, in which every note is part of the melody, in contrast to Scruggs style, which involves drone notes. Clawhammer, or frailing, involves striking the strings with downward strokes rather than upward. It's an older style than bluegrass. No reason you can't learn a bit of each.

  • Wonderful!

  • Wow,It was so clean.

  • Thanks so much for sharing this. I have been playing for 6 months and strugging so hard with this one. It's great to see how it should be done. Very smooth left hand!
