Can someone explain to me why most people like Maggie Reilly's version better than Annie Haslam's? I am genuinely confused, and want to know the reason. To me, Annie Haslam is one of the finest singers with incredible vocal control and range. There isn't much control or range in Maggie Reilly's voice. I don't think she has had much singing training. Annie Haslam's version is just much more pleasing to my ears.

Not one of her best, and I do admire her as a vocalist. The phrase, "Going through the motions" springs to mind. Annie, don't ever do it for the money!

@ProfessorZaroff No but she has a voice similar to Maddy Prior's, who sings on some tunes by Oldfield (mainly on 'Incantations').
