  • My dell dimension 4600C says "The amount of system memory has changed."

  • Any combo of beeps after two means that some of your memory is bad. Remove one module at a time until you find the faulty chip. Replace.

  • CPU Load error. i got this on laptop when CPU temperature reached a certain level and when cpu was "Overloaded"

    continue to tell yourself it was a good investment.  Shouldn't need to defend it if it was a good one. To each their own, I prefer normal computers for games, cheaper price, customization.

    It's really the attitude around them that makes me hate macs. I simply find it easier to build a computer thats more powerful, and cheaper. Am I nerd for doing that? yea. And yea, if you meant to take a shot at vista with the os comment, it did suck, I fully believe 7 more than makes up for it. Anyway, again, to each their own, I'm done replying, can't argue with opinions.

  • either ram or video error, it depends on what bios you have, I think you have a pheonix bios, i'm not sure, it could be american megatrends, but if you want to look at the post beep codes just google your bios then beep code.

  • I've listned the noise of a Quantum hard disk, good hard drive! I have it by 7 years and it works great. Ad for beeps, maybe your system doesn't detect any video card.
