You can go to the store, pay twice as much for an "organic" tomato that has been plucked green and shipped across the globe, and it will be just as flavorless as the conventional. HOWEVER, if you ignore the meaningless official label, and focus on fresh and local food, food that was grown with sound practices, food that has not had petrochemicals dumped...

I don't just buy food because it has the USDA Organic label on it. what is much more important to me are the items I just listed. There IS a health benefit, environmental benefit and taste benefit in following this practice.
