@zakkozilla actually apple likes to talk about speed doing the same thing, essentailly unless you say "cold boot" you're talking about coming out of standby, sleep mode, idle, whatever name you want to give the same thing.

Timing from sleep has become the norm because so few people actually turn off their computers anymore :/ (As a techie sleeping computers bothers the hell out of me, shutting down clears memory which is simply cleaner)

@sleepzou Senast jag startade min mac när den legat oanvänd länge tog den nog 30sec-1min på sig att gå ur vänteläge.

Datorerna i videon hat legat i vänteläge i 2 veckor!

@antonmjor ehm bullsht lr så har du en sjukt gammal mac. För jag hade en av dom äldre 13 inch macbook aluminium. Poängterar det var inte ens pro versionen. Men iaf efter 3 års användande med filer bla bla osv så starta den fortfarande iaf lika snabbt som detta. Den hadde kanske inte varit i vänteläge i 2 veckor men vem fn lämnar datorn i 2 veckor. Jag kan säga en sak apple produkter må va dyra men alla apple produkter jag haft har jag varit super nöjd med. Till skillnad från windows.

@angrymarketing5 Apple are hardly bloated, compared to Windows (especially with all bloatware out of the box from OEMs) I'd say that Windows is the bloated one and not OSX with it's UNIX-certified Mach/FreeBSD krenel which is far superior everything DOS based. The Windows network stack is really horrible.

@alexlaban But that doesn't fix the fact that Lion was a disaster in terms of bugs and compatibility and the fact that Apple just sells re-branded foxconn hardware for 5 times the price. Why do you think half of apple users just use bootcamp and stick to win7 most of the time? To bad the performance they get is that comparable to a $300 budget laptop.

Men fortfarande så stämmer ju faktiskt resten, att kalla Apple för "bloated trash" visar ju bara på okunskap, man kan ju knappast kalla Mach kärnan bloatad.
