@Soulless99 Try to increase the steering sensitivity in the advanced steering menus. Helps a bit.

@Soulless99 there is a way to "eliminate" the steering lag. It is all about the "dampening" of the control keys, so as to feel smoother in game. Other than that, there is the 1.01 patch which still doesn't do much in the way of fixing the steering lag :/

I wouldn't touch a racing game without my playseat, wheel and pedals :)

What I'm talking about is not the difficulty and the physics of the game, which are decent.

But there is a slight but very noticeable lag or delay if you will to the steering so when i turn the wheel, it takes a moment before the effect is applied in game.

This makes the driving difficult, sure, but it also makes it unrealistic and gives a very bad feel to it.

This is bad coding and not intentionally.

I dont know how it is on the PC or XBOX but on PS3 there is in fact a steering delay issue, a "bug" if you will, that really destroyed the game for me and many others.

Shame since it would have been awsome otherwise :/

@Godslayerify Kids play Most wanted, underground etc. Most grown-ups, including real race drivers, play shift 2. Simple. The game isn't for everyone. It's just like Gran Turismo, where you have to possess nerves of steel in order to come in 1st in every race.

@TheMrpurpleman10 It still lacks in realism, unfortunately. For example, i gave Hot Pursuit and Shift 2 to my little nephew and the one he plays the most is hot pursuit, because it is much easier to accomodate the new player, whereas in Shift 2 there is a ton of different thing you have to look out for, like tuning, car performance, and you DON'T have to come 1st in every race.
