To explain further, God loves all humans equally, so He is a God of fairness and Justice. If God were to allow some to hurt others without being punished, He would be showing favoritism. However, all of us have sinned and fall short of God's perfection. Without the blood sacrifice of Jesus, every human would, for their own sins, have to go to Hell to pay for their own sins.

I hope you don't mind me following up...Jesus was God who became a man specifically SO He could die. He lived a sinless life so that when he died, his execution could substitutionally pay for the sins of others (you and me.) Without this, no human can ever be accepted by God.

How many of Graham's biblical heroes lived up to his high minded rules, particularly on sex?. David sent a nab to his certain death in battle so he could have the widow.Solomon had 1000s of concubines. I wonder if Allen knew about BG's anti-semitism which he shared with Nixon?

@steveinchelsea Exactly! Thank God for Jesus Christ (who came after these men). No man is perfect and needs the salvation that Christ provides. After one accepts Christ, he still makes mistakes, but is in the process of being sanctified (made holy) by God. Any human is going to fail, including Bill Graham. That's why we Christians look to Jesus Christ...the only perfect man.

@jbuman22 If Jesus Christ was in fact a "man" why was his death more than 2000 years ago any more significant than the many others who were also put to death over the centuries, unfortunate, but what does it have to do with me? If he was a god than he didn't die in the first place, because god's don't die, hence the whole thing was a fraud and as far as I'm concerned never happened anyway.
