Metallica is non-arguable the greatest metal band on the face of this earth..... the old stuff is Legendary, the new music kicks some serious ass, and they do it like no one else can, or could.
Although I favor Megadeth over Metallica, I cannot argue that they are awesome. I have to disagree with you on their new stuff though, I didn't like Death Magnetic at all. Load and ReLoad were okay, but couldn't compare to Master of Puppets or Kill 'Em All.

4:53 - 4:59 is the best part of the solo. Also, i hate when people say "0:00 - 8:17 is my favorite part." It shows they don't have a part they like best. Yes, i like this whole song, but at least I'm enough of a fan to have a favorite part. (have in mind I'm not saying someone is a poser just because they put the whole song as their favorite)

I have Ride the Lightning and Kill 'em All, but I haven't listened to And Justice for All or the Black Album (besides One and Enter Sandman). I'm more into Slayer, Megadeth, Maiden, Godsmack, Helloween, etc. I used to be a Megadeth fanboy who would do nothing but go "Metallica sucks!" without giving them a chance. Now I have two of their albums, so whatever lol
