  • hi im 17 and i still love digimon and kokomons lAST FORM Cherubimon IS AWESOME

  • please make more toy reviews!

  • What about ColdaMon lol

  • Mr. Mozart looks like my freshman history teacher, Mr. Carman

  • That's why Joe Camel disappeared. :)

  • That's stupid that you can trademark names. How can one do anything when people are claiming WORDS? We only have 600,000 of them, and we have more people wanting to trademark.

  • well, there's a monkey called coconuts that was a character in sonic the hedghog in the nineties

  • i remember him!

  • The Lipton video it's actualy from Portugal my country it was on a few years ago.

  • This is definitely good advice for anyone interested in getting into commercials or design for products. Well done!

  • WHO WANTS TO WATCH Alvin and the chipmunks 2? this is dum mike!

  • if you post a peice of art on a website with leagal stuff so if i find it i can sue them . will it be ok ? cause i'm a little nervous to put my work up so what kind of infingment is it?

  • Comment removed

  • digimon cam out before pokemon did

  • that has nothing to do with this vid

  • Digimon is a much darker, much more serious, much more elaborate, much more mature story than pokemon, and the only correlations between yuugi ou and pokemon are that they've both been adapted into ccgs. It's not physically possible for yuugi ou to be a ripoff of digimon, since it debuted simultaneously with pokemon, the year before digimon. Pokemon's creator is neither autistic nor epileptic. In the futureget your facts straight--the only one you're making look bad is yourself.

  • i have a question do u do legos at all?cuz i love legos and just wanted to know cuz i would by them.......

  • thirsty tatoos is funny. thanks 4 letting me know about it.

  • cocomon is not a digiamon

there is yokomon and tokomon but not cocomon

  • is making a parody copyright infringement

  • No, that is protected under fair use.

  • Thought weird al likes to contact the artist and tell them that there doing it

  • @tcot0663

    i don't think so

  • @tcot0663 no

  • please please listen look up the advertisement for lynx maracas and the dairy milk eyebrow ad thank you four hours of entertainment

  • once again awsome video :)

  • omg look its bruce falange!¿!¿!!!¿¿

  • yeah i think theres already a caracter named kokomon its a digimon i beleave :/

  • Yup

  • yeah from the digimon movie

  • yeah that was my best guess :)

  • true

  • will you make more knock toy videos?

  • oh gee i should have watched this all the way through before i mentioned joe camel

  • that's a cute comment.

  • well i have viewed other youtube videos and i seen cartoons smoking back in the day and i don't see what the big deal is anymore. It was OK then but not now? that is stupid

  • i meant you correcting yourself.

  • Just like Joe camel as a cartoon for example -- or am i wrong?

  • "sombras" shadows (just so if you dont know)

  • Awesome. Im fourteen and getting a headstart in life about this stuff may be confusing, but im sure it's going to help me later. Thanks alot Mike!

P.S. We share the same name :P

  • digimon is anime

  • lol sexy it had to be just sexy XD

  • if i can,t draw that well how i design a toy?

  • i want to know how you can get your artwork put on toys, my husband and i are both artists and we would like to get into the business of advertising/ making packaging for items. i would love some information about this. thanks!!

  • As soon as you said 'Cocomon' at the beginning of the video, I at once wondered if you'd be mentioning that Bandai has Kokomon trademarked. xD Way to hit the nail on the head once again, and keep up the good work!

  • Hello Mike, I have one concern about copyrighted titles. I am a filmmaker, and plan to send in a film in a year called "Tales from the Bark Side," some early storyboards are here on youtube. But I just found out, that that name is claimed as a book title for stories about people's pets. If I plan to go somewhere with this title for my film later, should I change the title now? Or is it not that big of a deal, since I see so many low budget titles being used for bigger, more noticeable projects?

  • lol condoms

  • Do you have to pay to trademark a name? I'm doing some gameprogramming and I have my own little series of games with a character which means a lot to me. How do I trademark it do none other could use it or its name?

  • cocomon is kinda like copying off pokemon not just cuz they ryme...but pokemon is actually short for pocket monster and cocomon is coconut monkey... anyone else see where this is going??

  • the lipton sombras is a commercial from Portugal :)

  • I would go with shock rocking myself... make it memorable in a bad way, yet people will forget the bad and only remember the product, have the person give the drink to another guy... surprise ending!!!

  • I think it is weird to copyright or trade mark a name. How can you do that? I can understand copyright or trade mark a character (looks and name), but not a name...

  • i have a name that he can use (hopefully) Monkoco (I havent searched it)

  • Mike, how do you copyright books and writing? Is it automatically copywritten? Or do you need to stake your claim like the TM thing? Also, how does this work with free publications on the internet? Should you copyright your work online? How do you do that?

  • interesting...

  • I apologize. I meant to say "Kokomon" or "Cocomon," indicative of two different Digimon. To my knowledge, neither is trademarked, registered or common law.*

*I am not an attorney (yet), please do your own legal research to be sure.

  • Bandai would say that using "Kokomon" is a dilution by tarnishment of their mark.

  • int Thirsty Tattoos u can hear the word PULA wich is Romanian 4 Dick

  • pula in brazilian means jump

  • Hey Mike, I find your channel yesterday and it is awesome, can you ever show a video on JeepersMedia! that shows some of the things you have made?

  • how do you create your toy?

  • I remember that beer ad with the tatoos, it is from Brazil.

  • phew! i was thinking that u did it! ...my apologies.

I really admire your work, i only use YouTube to watch your videos, i think my post had one of those words T_T.

anyway, keep up those cool videos!! :D

    _.-*Take Care*-._ :D

  • I'll give you 5 stars in every video, just pm me please...(4 stars for boring ones, lol)

  • musa,

What does pm me please mean? I don't understand pm.

    Best Regards,

    Mike Mozart

  • pm is private message

  • pm = private message

  • or personal message:D

  • pm or PM is short for "private message", and is often used interchangeably with "instant message" or the youtube (or any other site's) inter-user message system.

off topic, you wouldn't believe the amount of questions I get asking about legality on things. I am a process and safety engineer - my job is to make sure a product conforms to certain published standards (mandatory/voluntary), and your videos are much on the money from my informal understanding of copyright and trademarks

    good work!

  • @TheToyChannel pm means personal message.

  • great video.. hope u don't delete this post too.. U_U

  • Buffmanuy,

I rarely delete posts, They would need to be so bad that I would block the user. My fans mark as spam anything that they feel is nasty or abusive. Like is someone posts You F*cking *ssh*le, my viewers mark it as spam for me so it disappears.

That's likely what happened! Or someone marked you as spam accidentally when they were going to reply to you.

    That's all I can think.

    Best Regards,

Mike Mozart Your Toy and Product Guru.

  • Outstanding!

  • I gave you a 5-star rating. Your TM opinion was very informal. If some other people want to learn more about that or [my preference] Sonic the Hedgehog, they will certainly turn to you, the TOP Guru! :-)

  • I find this video awesome. It explains alot and I do remember the beer commercial with the drifting tattoos.

I was wondering, do you find that companies who happen to sell a great toy, end up abusing that creation to no ends? Like tickle me elmo took new heighs on my -avoid- list as well as Furbies and the newly evolved littlest pet shop toys...they look like boggle heads now...I still own some of the originals. What are your thoughs?

  • Good vid :P

  • yeah those name problems are a real problem, i have a character for my book who is army related so i added a fake serial number to her name to make it unique. great video once more

  • WHAT WERE some of the commercials you help make or did and for what and how would i be able to start in the advertising buisness cause this is what im hoping to do when i grow up

    thanks

  • I think its a great idea for you to do this bud :)

Thanks man :) its very interesting

  • lol condom

  • lol jaundice

  • Yellow skin didn't seem to hurt the Simpsons

  • Ahhh..Yes, the Simpsons. Yellow skin actually works fine for Many Cartoon Characters, Tweety Bird, for Example.

But representations of people, either real or realistic CGI, with Yellow or Yellowish complexions, have been tested for years for different marketing reasons and draw negative reactions in television commercial productions, especially for food or beverages.

    Thanks for the Comment!
