Some parts are; treu. I havent a car and I love cycing. The coast here, for example is a great place to do this.

@bonifp Probably because you don't really need one. Cyclists often have their own roads and traffic lights, they are seperated from normal traffic... Unless it's a very quiet street with hardly any cars like in a neighbourhood.

due to the short distances most dutch cyclists ride, like to the mall and back home again, helmets will just be a hassle to put off and on every time they go riding. helmets also mess up your hair ;)

@Hanxies the video is sped up so people can see how massive cycling really is. It does go to normal speed a lot of times to highlight some of the people passing. There are lots of other video's on my channel that are kept in normal speed. There is something for everyone's taste I think.

I live in London, I am a proud owner of an Gazelle Omafiet, I am not a fan of mountain or lycra clad individuals on hi-tech racers which tend to be mainstreamy here, I have tried to make my bicycle less appealing to thieves like covering parts with plastic bags and replacing bar grips and brooks saddle with cheaper alternatives etc but to no avail, people still try and attempt to steal it and have had my bicycle vandalised countless times including dynamo lights being damaged, it's pretty sad.

In Japan bikes very rarely get stolen. You'd have to be in a big city with a flashy bike to get it stolen and even that would take some time.

@Bhousm76 Because everyone has one, they drive great and easy, you don't have to rade to you're work..... Just find yourself a 20 year old bike for 15bucks. Buy a big chain so it won't get stolen. If you're bike isn't locked someone on foot will say: hey lets take this bike, then i'm faster. The person will then dump this bike somewhere else... If you would have a road bike and lock it somewhere, it will be damaged when you come back because everyone just trows there bike against yours.....
