In response to lab981's comment, I think that Spymob were working on their own music.

Don't get me wrong, Spymob were a great backing band, but their own shit sucked. All their songs sounded the same. No variation at all.

I actually think that the recorded version is better, they are kind of losing the 'cool' doing it live I think. And to me that actually makes the track...

Funny because I'm usually into Metal and Crossover, so rather the heavy stuff, but I don't like that live interpretation of the song, I think in that case they just can't do live what they did on the record so they thought about doing it in another style.
