Badmash says...Marriages don't have to take place in churches or holy grounds, being born a catholic but being told I can't go up and accept holy communion has turn me off from the catholic church (among other things) I just think however one would like to get married it should be an option for us all.

you said in one of your blogs that church and state should stay seperate so why do you insist on making a law to force churches to marry gays? the Bible does condemn gay sex but not gays you are loved all the same but it clearly states that marrige is reserved for a man and a woman. if it bothers you so much why not start a church of your own that accepts these things. scientist did so why can't you , is the fear of what the bible states scare you because man can't change what GOD has made so.

Equality will always win! Even though we had a set back yesterday, we will win in the end. "Seperate but equal" has been proven to be unconstitutional once, as it always will be. Equal rights for all people is fundamental to this nation, as evidenced by hundreds of years of legal history. Queer marriage is not any different.
