  • Terry Crews has an amazing athletic physique! A lot of peeps are stubborn and think they know everything about weight lifting and nutrition when their biceps are probably no bigger than 12 inches. . . These are all basic back exercises he is demonstrating which are great for building a nice proportional back.

  • so, this coming from someone new in the working out bussiness, can those deadlifts at the beggining hurt your back or will that only happen if you mess up doing them?

  • @nothingelsetodo69 They won't hurt your back unless you have bad form (i.e. bent back). You should get some soreness/pain from straining and pushing for those last couple of reps and some soreness the day after as your back muscles grow and recover.

    Shit I´d probably be half passed dead if I even attempted to do this workout session. I go for about 12 to 14 set for back my back workout has me completely worn out when I´m done. I guess everyone is different but for me 24 sets would be overtraining big time.

  • @MrBeckenhimself  pretty sure Terry is on HGH or juice. he can go 24 sets. us natural folks need to stay around 12-16 sets PER WEEK max

    You are wrong you can overtrain no matter if you eat more.

    Everyone is different what may be overtraining for me may not be overtraining for you. I know my body 24 sets for my back would be overtraining for me. So I would never try that routine.

  • @MrBeckenhimself 24 sets is not really overtraining if you are resting your back...atleast 1 or 2 weeks rest for each bodyparts is good enough

    I've been hitting the gym long enough for me to know what works for me and what doesn't work. I couldn't even do 24 sets even if I tried to which I wouldn't try.

    If you can do it without overtraining great for you, but for me it wouldn't work.

  • @y0urlittleitaly I'm no expert, but just the nature of the movement is going to cause stress on your lower back, I try to do them with good form every time and no matter what my back is tight after doing my routine. Also, being that deadlifts are a compound movement, you should feel it in just about all of your body. Just my two cents.

  • You have a contradiction in this workout. Crews says he sticks with one weight the whole time (both in video and article), but at 5:50 you guys say "increase weight".

  • @digitaldeviation Not really. He uses those different techniques for different exercises.

  • @MetalCamelChannel For dumbbell rows, he says he uses one weight throughout so you can focus (same as the article). But the video has a pop-up that reads "increase weight". Not really a big deal. Just pointing it out.
