  • look ppl should stop being lazy get a flipping brush out and brush it off themselves lol

  • @OKduckMachine You would rather take advice from yourself?

  • if maintaining was done like this then we wouldnt have a job

  • Take that pressure washer and flatten all those fins! . Had a customer do this- no way to repair it- cost $1,200.00 to replace the outdoor coil. He must have watched this idiot video.

  • @hvacbuck nah, 14-year olds don't work in the HVAC/R field until 16. So yeah. But tim gibson really should retire. he looks to old to be doing this.

  • up unit an doun unit.....

  • @toddity hahaha didn't catch that the first time.

  • @HCVguy93 agreed 100000%!

  • people like that fetch tools.

  • @hvacbuck people like this sit at home and don't do anything

  • @cliftonakaangrydad: I rolled up to a house to do a c/c and the homeowner had a handyman power washing his siding. The condenser was still wet after the moron power washed it! I told the homeowner, who then called the police on the handyman, who then threatened my life. And the homeowner's. In front of the cop. The handyman went to jail. We installed a new condenser two days later. I won't forget that call.

  • My mind locked up when he said power washer. This guy is a moron. NEVER EVER use a pressure washer on a condenser coil. I don't care how many times you fin comb it afterwards, it will never be the same. You might as well tape a stick of dynamite to the compressor. Homeowners in Chicago, however, feel free to use a pressure washer. I get $100 for every condenser I sell.

  • i wouldnt wanna work with that guy.

  • What expert village did they get this guy from ?

  • @cliftonakaangrydad

I have a Trane heat pump.......Is it pretty simple to get the cover off? I've never done it

  • Some Coil Cleaner, Hose with Sprayer on, Clean from inside out.

Look at his breaker box Markings.. "DOUN UNIT" hahaha....

  • retard

  • Check out the Mighty Pump.

  • Thanks for the visuals...

    Love,

    kris.

  • wtf was that all about someone could have a full time job just following him and fixing his crap oh ya lets pressurewash our condensers once a month what a foul

  • dude..you shouldn't really use the pin point setting on the fins..

  • and while you're at it...get rid of that pos rheem

  • @fetisov02 WTF??? Rheem has made quality units from day 1. Get your facts straight.

  • u suck dude!!

  • yeah, a pressure washer would be the most gentle thing to use on the coils lol

  • Stay tuned for Tim's tips on do it yourself brain surgery!

It's quick. It's easy. And you get to use a power washer!

  • @F4O4U4R4S AHAHHA ur coment made me ROFL!

  • is this guy for real!!!! first, those are not cooling coils. thats a CONDENSING UNIT and its job is to REJECT heat from the system. its better to get your local HVAC tech pay a service call, than to damage the whole system by following this Idiot instructions. and please, DO NOT use a POWER WASHER, you will BEND the fins easily.

  • home owners,,,leave this work to the pros! Check your local consumer business affairs guide and find a competent contractor. Have him tear the unit down and chemically clean the coil. Dupont makes good cleaning solution for this.Stay out of the unit. And for GODs sake do not powerwash! You will damage the coil. After he reassembles unit have pressures checked, superheat and subcool, capacitor, contactor condition and meg compressor. That's the right way

  • what a clown. spray inside out.

  • There is some problems with this video, first off Freon is a brand name, he should refer to it as refrigerant. Next when you wash the vanes/fins you ALWAYS want to wash them from the INSIDE to the OUTSIDE. But as he did, washing straight down, thats fine for getting off the major outside build up. Power washer...little over kill, and you could bend the fins over, a garden hose works just fine. Grass clippings, dog hair, and Cotton Wood Tree debris can clog the fins easily.

  • instead of the power washer why don't you use a regular hose and grab a brush to remove that grass. this guy must think money grows on tree's to say, "invest on a power washer" .. brush works just find Gibson!

  • second :X maniak!

  • firsttttttttttttttt

    yay

    first time first

    nobbi video :X

  • thanks!
