  • So brilliant.

  • another way of looking at it which I picked up from another teacher is to say:

I am her father (or mother) as opposed to: She is my daughter.

Try it out and see how it feels. You will be surprised.

You can do the same thing with a spouse: instead of 'This is my wife', try 'I am her husband'. Makes a difference doesn't it?

  • Thanks. So wonderful. You found the key to peaceful mind.

  • I didn't realise this was in prison at first. What a great gift she's giving them with this work.

  • That was mindblowing - Thank you - She's just wonderful

  • I think her parents naming her 'Byron' really fucked her up. I bet if the had named her say 'Heather', she would be a normal thinking person.

    Just kidding,sorta of.

  • jajajajajjaja lol

  • So, you can't argue with 'god'. SO YOU JUST LET SHIT HAPPEN????? You let your daughter go take drugs, hang out on the street at night.

I dont' get this. I have been listenting to this stuff and Warren Blackford and don't understand the premise that your reality is 'perfect' in the eyes of the universe. I live with chronic pain and depression. That is perfect?

  • There are many schools of thought, you will get varying answers.

Personally, I believe that there is something good and right within us all (well, right to you). That core has pure right action pouring from it all the time.

Reason why your life is not the way you want it to be is because you start thinking and, believing what you're thinking, instead of doing.

Right action isn't a thought, it's like swallowing food. It just happens, perfectly, without thought. It's when...

  • You start to think about it, assessing the situation, believing all the thoughts about the situation, that you choke on the food. (Funny metaphor I know)

But see, we all have a self-sustaining core that emanates right action, endless abundance.

The reason why you and I and many others haven't been doing the right thing is because we don't let things "happen".

Losing all thought and belief of those thoughts let you do the rightest things at the rightest time.

    Scientific Proof...

  • This is a sick, blatant abuse of hypnotherapy people! Don't buy in to it!

  • definitely

  • Is it true?

Can you actually know that it's true?

How do you feel and react when you believe these thoughts?

Who would you be without those thoughts?

  • @philinmotion just accept that you are not able to accept. Surrender to what is...peace and best wishes

  • @philinmotion those are very dangerous thoughts, it nearly drove me insane

  • Wow! The truth is a powerful thing.

  • Thank you for the subtitles !

I'm from France and it was not easy to understand. Thank you !

  • She's amazing, she's changing the world for the better!

  • I love watching how she brings out the truth in people so that they can see it for themselves.

  • Very touching video. BK is very loving and helpful.

  • 2:00 I thought by 'turn it around' she meant he should say 'I would like my daughter to go back to school'

  • This was wonderful and powerful. I do The Work and love the inquiry process. What Byron Katie has to say can be very profound. This was straight to the point, direct, and gets you to question your thoughts just by her challenging words in this video.

  • Thank You BK !!!

  • At the end of the day every human has to make a decision. A parent's love for children is one thing, but telling your child what to do don't mean you love them. There are so many issues to deal with when talking about this. All adults, parents, and guardians do not have wisdom. Like BK says, to argue with reality is to argue with God-point blank!

  • nice you :)

  • the parent has the wisdom to see that if the daughter keeps going down the path she's going down sooner or later she will reach the point of no return and be locked into a substandard way of life. Love for your daughter tells you that you must at least try....you can't give up on her.................

  • The Work WORKS. Thank you BK for your clarity.

  • Yes this is brilliant! The first video I have seen of her and I already love her! So inspirational!

  • brillant

  • EXCELLENT!!

  • She puts her point accross really well, kind of reminds me of something i read yesterday about focusing on the solution not the problem.

  • Great video, very poignant.

  • I love it !

  • Katie does some superb work. She's a master teacher. We're lucky to have her around doing this kind eduction with us.

  • I AM lucky and BLESSED that I live in Kentucky as I just found the work in March and I AM going to see BK in Louisville and Cincinnati in April. Both just over an hours drive! The day after Cinci I AM going home to Michigan for a visit where I will NEED 'The Work' and all that BK can teach ME!!

  • You are going to have a fantastic time of inspiration I'm sure!

  • Wonderful!

  • Thank you always Byron!! You rock!!

  • Thanks for the lesson pls. upload more here on You-tube.

    ++Love++

  • Excellent!
