I used to give my sister such abuse for making "The Outsiders" one of her favorite films when it was first released. Her death in August has helped me realize her wonderful taste and how foolish I was. It is a great film. At least I always did love Stevie's song. Phenomenal lyrics that capture amazing memories. "Life is but a twinkling of an eye...". To anyone who chose to dislike this, that's just plain ignorant. Please go watch another clip and don't embarrass yourselves here.

i've never heard of the book until we read it in class. then we watched the movie and i fell in love with it! i bought the movie at the very beginning of june, and i've seen it more than thirty times and it's been a little less than a month. i watch it at least twice a day, seriously. this song makes me cry everytime i hear it. and the movie makes me cry everytime i see it. it's an amazing book/movie. and the song is beautiful! i'm completely obsessed and in love with the movie/boo! i love it!<3

The book was amazing! Now I own this movie and it makes me cry every single time. When Johnny dies, when Dally dies, and then when Ponyboy finds the letter Johnny left him, all those parts make me cry so much. But it's an amazing story, and movie! This song just ties into it so well. I love it so much! 2:09-2:18 really make me get a random shiver, it's so cool. And the whole song just makes me feel kinda happy, yet sad. It's just amazing. This is an amazing story.

nope, it takes place in a differnt time period with a whole other story and different characters, its NOT the sequel. in the movie they reuse the actor for Dally from theoutsiders though
