Their label is probly going to let 'em go cause of the disapointing sale in U.S and Europe. I know they'll still go on but this is a good thing. In a way that I think it will bring them back to the base of what FOB is (or used to be). I also think that Pete should stop writting, or just write better.

fall out boy was already main stream when ioh came out. &it doesn't matter that pete is the bassist, that not why he shouldn't be the front man. it's because he has nothing to do with the music, he just writes whiney lyrics and then plays along with crappy bass lines.

Fall Out Boy has not always been mainstream. They were considered Emo poppunk. Now they've migrated to mainstream rock. The bassist comment was a joke. I'm sorry If I offended you. Lyrics can be interpreted any way you like, but in my opinion the lyrics are more refferreing to the invasion of Pete's personal life. Pete made the band's image, and I don't think that it was anything less than intentional. Bottom line : the bands sound changed to appeal to a broader audeince. plain and simple.

I still love Fall Out Boy, but I agree that they've definately changed. Everything that has to do with the band- interviews, articles, and other stuff- usually relates to Pete first, because he's the "most attractive". That kinda makes me upset. I enjoyed Infinity on High, but I have to admit that Take This to Your Grave was my favorite. It was incredible, with a smooth pop-punk sound. Infinity On High kinda lost that.
