Over the years,I have been able to bite my nails shorter and shorter and currently,I can bite them as short as 0:01 .It's crazy ridiculous and SUCH an annoying habit to have,especially when you want to quit, but it's become such a bad habit that when I try to stop,I get a withdrawl like a long term smoker trying to quit cigarettes and I feel like I'm going out of my mind until I give in.....D:

So that was the point of the video - to give me an incentive to grow them. Does that not make sense to you? There was no fungus involved at any stage!

what helps is to think about all the gross stuff under your nails that u are biting..parasites.bacterial grossness...feces..just sayin'...when u are about to put your fingers in your mouth, try to think about just how well you washed your hands the last time u were in the washroom..good luck!

someone who's not suffering from it, is unable to understand us. I bite my nails! I started when I was 4 years old and i saw an aunt bitting them. I am 17 now, still bitting them. Last year I was so frustrated because I couldn't control myself. It's an addiction! My parents used to hit my hand each time they saw me bitting them and to be honest it never helped me. Now that i am starting to realize that it's wrong i try to understand why i bite them.Try again your nail project! Try again!

@bertos79, why don't you try going for gel nails and make sure to be refiled every 4>5 weeks. This was how i helped my sister who bite her nails as much as you or more than you. But today, she is filled with gratitiude watching her natural nails grown up to11/2 inches, please do give it a go, nothing wrong in trying.
