@isdaeekerman well, whenever you decide come from behind the cozy confines of you computer chair and actually back that up...I'll be waiting tough guy lol
@JetTeYe lmao ok. here it goes. mj averaged more pts, rbs, assts, stls, and blks while shooting a way higher % from the floor per game throughout his entire career than kobe has. he has 5 league mvps to kobe's 1. and a defensive mvp which kobe doesnt have.
even if you threw the stats out the window, to me, it's just so obvious. superior athleticism by far, much qucker, faster, jumps higher, way more explosive. best finisher of all time and probably the best mid range jumper of all time
@isdaeekerman *yawn* lol funny that your longest paragraph is about stats that you're willing to "throw out the window". It's very easy to throw stats out, when first off, Kobe didn't even start for his first 3 seasons so his stats were lower and he played with Shaq who put up big numbers too. KB didn't win MVPs cuz he played with Shaq, another MVP runner. Same reason LeBron will never win another MVP in Miami no matter how well they do. But that shouldn't take away from them bein great.
@isdaeekerman and it's very easy to say MJ was superior athletically when comparing to athletes of that era. MJ would have much stuffer 1-on-1 comp in todays NBA going against Kobe, LBJ, D-Wade, T-Mac & AI in his prime, Durant. Kobe deals with MUCH comp on a night to night basis. MJ dealt with 5 other good teams in his day (Celtics, Pistons, Lakers, Blazers, Cavs) and nobody other than Nique who was even close to as athletic at that time, so yes he looks like superman.
@JetTeYe and I laughed for 5 mins at that "best mid range jumper" comment. Even the most die-hard of MJ fans I know don't even say Jordan was a better "shooter" than KB. Bottom line is MJ had such a high FG% is cuz he didn't play against zone defenses and many of his shots were dunks or came in the paint. MJ developed his shot later after his athleticism faded some but it was never where Kobes jumper is. The only significant thing MJ has over KB is one more ring...for now.
@JetTeYe i bring out the stats because they are the most clear cut facts that you can go by. for the people that dont know anything about basketball.... which you clearly dont, its the easiest way to prove a point.
and by saying that you can throw them out, that is suggesting that even if he didnt beat kobe in ever single major statistical category, he is still the best. so i guess not only do you not know anything about basketball, you're also an idiot.
@isdaeekerman no the stats is not the most clear cut way. If that were the case we'd be talkin about Wilt, Kareem or the big O who have put up more spectacular STATS. It's an easy way to decode the game for those who can't watch it, not the other way around genius. Nuthin replaces watching the game and players like I have. You contridict yourself too much to be taken seriously, you're a novice at the MJ argument obviously. You didn't say anything bout his comp, or not playin against zones lol
@JetTeYe kobe wasnt the best on his team early on but u think hes the goat? talk about a dble ended sword. u say all he needs is 1 more ring yet u acknowledge that shaq was the mvp early in kobes career. if u think kobe wouldve won his 1st 3 w/out shaq than this is pointless and i might as well b talking to a def blind kid
if the only thing u can wrap ur empty head around is rings consider this, mj LED his team to 6. kobe? 2. although last yrs is a judgement call. he had a good gm7 tho lol
LoL I never said Shaq was the MVP, once again somebodys not reading. I said because he played with another MVP candidate he didn't WIN MVPs. Even tho 2 out of the 4 seasons he finished ahead of Shaq in the voting for MVP (Look that up). I never said that Kobe would have won without Shaq, but I guarantee that Shaq wouldnt have won without Kobe either. Shaq has never had a team that won more than 48 games without an all star 2Guard, so Kobe led to those rings as much as he did.
@JetTeYe u have alot to say for bein so tired, 'yawn' how gay is that! lol u say his stats r lower cuz he didnt start his first 3 yrs. he didnt even start his first 3 yrs? thats impressive. how about mjs stats goin down cuz he playd when he was 40? thats more relevant seeing how kobe isnt 40 yet so his stats r yet to decline like mjs did if he plays that long
sounds like ur knocking mj for bein ROY and bein awesome when he first stepped into the nba, unlike kobe. good one. makes alotta sense
@isdaeekerman lol I'm not yawnin from fatigue, it's a yawn from boredom. I'm not knockin MJ for anything let alone bein ROY. Unlike some, I don't discredit in order to make my argument look stronger lol. Your whole arguments are about ASS-Uming what it "sounds like" I'm saying and trying to use it to your advantage. Yes MJ played till he was 40 but, he and Kobe will have had played the same amount of seasons if Kobe comes back next year. Don't try to talk about MJ like he Jerry Riced it till 40
@isdaeekerman I'm done arguing with fools about the subject...I'm gonna finish the debate with my bro where it started. So I can discuss it with marginal intelligence. Take it easy Net-Thug, don't get put in Net-Jail for all the Net-Bangin you're doin buddy.
@isdaeekerman lmaooooo that is the first time I've ever been called a "douche bag"...LMAO that made my day...I love the internet, where on a daily basis people create a tough persona to overcompensate for gettin punked in the real world. Enjoy the safe world of cyberspace Mr. Suge Net lmao :-)
