There us a link at Champions-Online (dot) com that says "manage subscriptions" but it only says you don't ALREADY have one. There's no option to set up a new one. In fact, the only subscriptions I se that they are allowing you to purchase are 6 month or LifeTime ones. :/

One thing I find horribly annoying is that you cannot subscribe to this game! I know it hasn't released YET, but it does in only a few days and there is NO place in the website specifically holding a link to subscribe.

So I have a BETA code to play it, and a reserve of the game physically coming to my local GameStop, but once I get it I have no idea where or IF there is or will be a link to pay the monthly fees. They should have a place up already so I can either sign up early or know where to

I played the Aion beta. Once you get past the novelty of flying, it seemed like a slightly more polished version of Lineage 2. Same old same old. Maybe you will like it more.

DCu gameplay looks really stiff. Now Champions is where the action is I am hoping to get my Hero in the top rankings but regardly of how popular I may or may not become I'll have tons of fun with the game.

The Nemesis idea is an awesome touch and the running and gunning will add to the action.

I have heard alot of recycled sound effects though not a bad think except for the sonic blaster sound wave thing thats a bit annoying lol.

Those recycled sound effects are or will be gone. They're placeholder sound effects from CoX. By the time the game comes out, they'll be replaced with their updated, real versions.

the one thing im looking for is the type of guilds that they will have in here i would love to join a guild with the toped ranked heroes in the game and just the fact of makeing your power and nemises would be awsome and th henchemen that you will fight makeing his own story it would be cool and he comes up and fights you at random spawns and challenges you from what i understand in the forums so this game looks pretty good im way going to consider leaving wow for this and dcuo sucks cough*

Not everyone will chosen. In fact, you can only be chosen for the closed beta if your over 18 years old. Even then, the chance of you getting picked is .00004%. Wait until August 17th for the Open Beta.

It is an open beta. Open beta means the beta is open to the general public, but with some prerequisites required. In this case, you need a code which is available from any retailer as long as you preorder the game. Also, there is no NDA or any other contract that you have to sign.

A closed beta means a very, VERY select few will get in to play. Those people have to sign an NDA which means that they can't mention anything about the game to anyone or they'll be arrested/fined.

I see that they are really plugging the custamization factor for this game. I love to have good levels of customization but it comes down to the PvP. I hear that it will be arena based...now, COME ON nobody want PVP in set locations!!! Game developers NEVER LEARN

Well, there are clases, but if for example i dont like only spells from telekinesis, its better for me to get some from telepathy. But yeah, that would be hard coz u dot know what skills your enemy would have :D

City of Heroes is still far superior when it comes to character customization, game play and powers. Cryptic developed CoH 5 years ago. When Marvel backed out of Cryptic making Marvel Universe Online, they renamed it Champions. It's the same game engine as City of Heroes, but CoH has very few limitation whereas this game has many. Sorry guys. CoH is just better. :(

Well, yeah, most likely. It wouldnt be fair if the people who got the game for PC had to pay a subscription while those who had it for Xbox 360 didn't. However, if you buy CO for Xbox, you won't need to have a gold account to play the game, just a silver pass. You'll still have to pay crpytic to play the game, though. Even if you have a gold pass, though, you'll still have to pay a seperate subscription for CO. All of it is very confusing, which is why I'll be playing the PC version.

There is going to be a difference, but you should be happy that it's coming to Xbox at all. From what I hear, this game is kinda limited due to the fact that everything they has to work on both PC and 360.
