Did you get the opportunity to run a JD 120D? I'm eager to hear which one is preferred, from what I hear those are two of the preferred mid size excavators. Great video and operating!
Yeh it's rated in the 12 tonne catagory, but that machine with the long dipper and blade and that size of track pads will weigh around the 14 tonne mark.
You operate pretty good for someone of your age with not much time in the seat. You need to perfect your operating technique to make it a bit smoother, but that will come with practice and more hours in the seat. Then you need to get experience of all the different jobs you need to do with a hoe.
You were on a lot of different machines that day and even experienced operators take a little time to get used to the different characteristics of different makes, models and sizes of machine.
The more time you spend operating the better you will become. Watch experienced operators at work too, though I guess you do that all the time on Youtube lol. There's always something to learn by watching other people.

How did you like that size of machine? Same kind of size as a solar 140.
