Yu Haoming (Rui/Ji Hoo) is actually cute. It was just THE HAIR that ruined his image here. But really, his short hair is better and he is very handsome and SO GOOD at singing and dancing.

It's GREAT! :D i love meteor garden. i think i love this version too! :D besides not to reign on the hater's parade but not all the guys in meteor garden, boys over flowers, or hana yori dango are that cute either. :/ its difficult to find ppl with looks and talent, just be happy we got this close. :D

A lot of people have been criticizing this because apparently the guys are ugly but it's just their stupid hairstyles that make them look so bad. The guy who plays Huazelei/Jihoo/Rui actually looks pretty good with short hair.

And I'm totally loving this drama it's really good ;]

It's hard to say. Personally, this drama is so much better than I thought it would be. I really love this drama's script. Hunan did what they do best - entertain.

On the other hand, the general air of mainland netizens are fairly critical. And rather contributing the hilarity of the script to the awesome scriptwrtier, they seem to be doing it to the stupidity of the scriptwriter.
