I believe humans grew like almost of all species to be selfish and protect their own species and this of course is the only reason species survive. yet consequently we still hold this status now despite becoming a civilization we still don't care about animals because our emotions are still evolved for us to be selfish.
Hence because we are designed this way many humans believe insects are just pests and animals are just resources. animals deserve rights.

1. A good person is an individual whom experiences regret and guilt more and because they have stricter emotions do what there emotions say more 2 avoid punishment
2. A bed person is an individual whom experiences a lack of regret and guilt so they are more chilled out and dont listen to their conscious as much
Also I believe people pressume animals don't matter cause they naturally care 4 humans more only
