I believe there's a line in this skit where a servant asks what they'd like to drink and Lady Douchebag replies, "Oh just a little vinegar and water for me." That's nearly as daring as the Col. Angus routine.
It was an amazing skit, proven by all of us who remember it. Lord Salsbury and his steaks, the Wilkensons wearing swords, vinegar and water on the salad. This is an American classic.
Hey jeerock, where in the hell did you get this, do you possibly have access to the whole thing? If you do, it would be great if you could post it, because it's impossible to find on the internet.
the only snl collection ive ever seen this skit on was on vhs and it came as a set year by year it was the first 5 seasons.cant find it anywhere online
This is the BEST snl skit of all time! At one point Bill Murray shoves a sandwich in his mouth to keep from cracking up....it had me and my friends calling each other douchebag in mixed company for years.
Garrett Morris introducing "Lord and Lady Douchebag" still cracks me up big time. Just the way he says it is hysterical. I hope they release season 5 on DVD soon so I can have this sketch in its entirety.
Lord Salisbury: I have often heard the King speak of your family.. [ to Earl of Sandwich ] ..and of yours, as well: "Give me a Sandwich and a Douchebag, and there is nothing I cannot do."

@DelilahThePig Actually, I think he asks what sort of dressing she wants on her salad.
