I've got the Evans Sound-Off heads (dampening pads) to use on my kit while I'm playing at home. Do you think the triggers would work well if I snapped them onto the drum while the Evans Sound-Off pads are on there? Of course, I would have to cut a notch out of the pad in order to fit the triggers. Also, any suggestions for triggering cymbals?
Very nice, but most people that do conversions like that are concerned about the noise level. the mesh heads are a lot quieter and if you don't want to make them yourself you can buy pre-made ones for any size drums. check the video for sound demonstration.

yeah.. redo with no music in the background.. I wonder just how many people were able to watch the whole thing to the end

If your video is speech based, I suggest leaving out music in the background. It's really difficult to understand what you're saying.

@semiLivedj Lugs attach to the shell. Tension rods attach the rim to the lug casing.

@Kraxe6sic6 dampen the sound, and to help the trigger not misfire.

i wanna ask something what kind of material you user for this stuff is that simple cloth thing or cloth with plastic impregnation
gajagus 1 year ago
@gajagus It's just a simple cloth like a bed sheet, any thin cloth would work. I just got a Ddrum4se kit with all mesh heads, works like a charm.
