No one's probably gonna read this, but I’ll say it anyway cuz I feel at least 1 person will. I'm a young designer and graffiti artist, I know there's a million out there but I feel like my art has a unique individual style.
If you just take a min and give me a chance I'll make you a believer. I would love nothing more than to have a loyal following on youtube. If anyone who reads this could press the "THUMBS UP" others will see it. Just a simple button push will make a huge difference.
so much praise to artists like bono who know the lyrics. I've heard this song a 100 times and still couldn't even get thru half the song. props to Bono not that he needs it. i was thinkin of my fav U2 song and this might be it but there's about 5 others
@02R96 um I think that he was referring to Larry's mistake at the beggining or something like that and thats actually a pub thats on a Dorset Street called the Angel
If you watch closely at the end of the song, Bono and Larry are laughing. It's nice to see a ban have fun instead of being oh so serious. Liam Gallagher or Axl Rose probably would have stormed off of stage. Then again Ronnie VanZant would have punched him out...
their best albums are Boy, October, War, The Unforgettable Fire, The Joshua Tree, Rattle and Hum, Achtung Baby, Zooropa, Pop, All That You Can't Leave Behind, How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb and No Line on the Horizon.
No what happened was Adam started on the bass because he thought that was when Larry was going to start up, it wasnt so Bono decided to count them in for a laugh.
This is by far my favorite version of this song. The audience singing along with him is just awesome! I'd give a lot to have been there on that day. Thanks for the post.
nice and funny moment on slane castle, hehehe. but i have a question for you: at the end of the song, bono says something to larry...but i can't understand it. you can help me, please? thank u!!
Yes, I am argentine and my english isn´t so good and I hear "suicide at JFK",,,,but I also can hear something like "on" or "out"...so probably he sings "stu was out at JFK"...

You must see 'Out of control' and, then, you'll see what's Larry happy! :)

I love the fact that they missed the count. That and the Edge almost having the hat land on his head make this performance so special.

See this is where the Mondegreen Syndrome kicks in. We all hear different things.
In the beginning lines Bono sings "Stu was out at JFK", but I could swear he says "Suicide at JFK".
