Man hate to see him go, I saw Moore in a bar in Killeen Texas in 86 only 100 people there and the best show I have ever seen. Gary has always inspired my playing since 1978 and still does
during the quiet part of this song , before the solo, listen to the beautifut chord thing gary's got going on, real pretty , and that melodic solo that follows, its those little things that made me love this guy, ill miss him very much , like all of you , cheers
I was serving in the Marine Crops when I purchased this CD. As an ex "military man", this song is just as powerful and relevant now as it was 27 years ago!!
@OldManPoopOrgy well i saw gary moore play whit bb king when gary moore told him to fuck off and walk off and it is well knon gary moore was kicked out lizzy 3 times so yes you could be right
ANYONE CAN GO ON GOOGLE AND FIND LOADS LIKE THIS ( just put in gary moore sude in german court ) A German court has ordered former Thin Lizzy guitarist Gary Moore to pay damages after ruling the guitar solo in his 1990 hit "Still Got the Blues" had been plagiarized from a German song written in 1974.
A court in the southern city of Munich said on Wednesday the solo in Moore's song was too similar to the one in "Nordrach" by the band Jud's Gallery not to have been copied .
What the hell are you talking about! You must be a 12 years old kiddy... you need to learn a little more about music... Not only this, but music in general!
Great performance, I remember this show, I taped it to VHS.
Man...remember the days when it was "normal" for the rock musicians on mainstream TV and radio to actually be extremely talented musicians, what the fuck went wrong with society ?

Geeze I had no idea Gary had been sucked into this bullshittery. Now look today; If you put your life on the line to keep terrorism out of your country they call you a "potential terrorist" yourself. The same goes for anyone who loves their country and anyone who hates murder. I'm pissed off at where all this is going.
Gary grew up in Belfast, thats Belfast Northern Ireland subject to occupation by the English military but your right about one thing "you have no idea".
nope... 1985. Phil's version was earlier, but phil & gary only did this in early 85. This was a promo for Run For Cover album/Out in the Fields Single which were released in 1985. They toured the UK for it in Sept. 1985.
