LOL I started listening to these Chinese melodies back in HS in the 90's. I heard the original Chinese ones before, then I started hearing these English versions from some high school friends who were Vietnamese. I thought some of the songs sound almost as good as the originals. A lot of these English versions copy the songs from singers like Jacky Cheung, Andy Lau, Leon Lai, Dave Wong, Sally Yeh, Faye Wong and Anita Mui.
