excellent video and great remainder for all the nay sayers that are talking sh**** about Roger that shows that even in his prime he was getting pushed to the limit by some guys out of the top 5.
oh man! that was a tight match. It could have gone either way. I didn't even know Paradorn was that good. Where is he anyways? Is he still on his honeymoon? Did he quit?
Look just because he was able to run fast to get to the ball in that point it doesn't mean he's not lazy all round. I mean when he's got time to prepare for the shot he hardly moves his feet at all which would make for a lot of inconsistent shots. And as a reply to bigpo1234, just because I'm not a pro it doesn't mean I'm not allowed to be critical of other players.
I thought Chang is the only asian that is reall good in pro tennis. But this guy is just WOW. with a Smoking Hot wife also that is like 20 times the WoW effect. wtf
No - he hasn't quited yet. Paradorn has suffered from the wrist injury that kept him from playing over the past two years. During his recovering period, he was married to former Miss Universe, Natalie Gelbova - now a couple is staying in Thailand.
Well that was what I've heard on a local news but then he didnt play cuz he wasnt ready or something and a month ago I've read that he might play the davis cup for thailand. So...we'll see if he's gonna lie or not.
Srichaphan was a great player but i haven't seen him play since, then...is he still a player or he quited from Tennis already ? could anyone tell me wat's going with his tennis's life ?
If Srichaphan had a better serve, he would have beaten Roger Federer in this match. Srichaphan would have probably been in the top 10 if he had more polished groundstrokes and a greater serve.
Yeah you are right. I think his serve is ok and he has better forehand and backhand than federer, so all he need to do is just try to reduce unforce error, i am sure he can defeat federer.
Srichaphan is however quite slow sometimes compared to other players, which I think is the biggest reason why he wasn't a consistent top player. He was World #9 at one point I'm pretty sure so that is well deserved. His serve is decent, but I don't think that is his main issue. He is still only 28, so he has like maybe 1-3 years, if anything, to still play well.
Srichaphan has best forehand and backhand, it is really fast and powerful. Federer also has good forehand and backhand, but it is really weak compare to srichaphan. But federer has better server, strategy and technique.
Federer is in an entirely different league from Srichaphan. Srichaphan's forehand gives the illusion of being more powerful because he is more aggressive with it and since this is a highlight reel, it doesn't show it when he makes a sloppy error.
Paradorn definitely has the better backhand; in fact it's one of my favorite of all time. Insanely underrated. But I wouldn't say his forehand is better. It's flatter and more powerful, but ONLY when he gets something easy to return off of. Federer's has more variety, spin and accuracy, and he can generate really sick amounts of pace off of seemingly impossible slices, volleys and dropshots.
I think srichaphan is very strong offensive player no one can compare with him even roger federer. Most of point that federer win is because of error from srichaphan. I have seen many match between them not just this match, so federer win because he has better serve and error from srichaphan.
paradorn lost, but I understood his strategy, which was to really mix things up,slice, drop shots..everything,it´s a really good aproach to play roger..mix it up as much as possible..nalbandian does that
This is the last match ive seen of srichapan, he seems to have retired shortly after but anyhow this is one of the best tennis matches ive ever seen on tv, just full of excellent rallies.
the wrong footing FH point at 4-5 down in the tiebreak saved fed the match. this was great battle because it went down to the wire and scrichapan had a real chance of giving fed his only loss indoors last year this time.
great match!!! federer and paradorn are such great players. paradorn really gives Federer a run for the money this time. totally agree, the result of this match can go either way. a very close match indeed.
I can't believe the commentator said at the end, "and it's the right result". What an obnoxious thing to say-Srichaphan was close to winning that match. It really could have gone either way. Federer and Srichaphan are great players!
Hopefully Srichaphan's wrist will heal and he can return to his top form. At his best, he's a top 10 player competing for titles on any surface except clay. This was an amazing match to watch!
i think people should go bak to eastern forehands cause both of these players ur them and hit really well. jus trying to promote.

Why is it that some people said that Paradorn is very arrogant?
BPFanatico 3 years ago
I haven't run across people who think Paradorn is very arrogant at all. If anything I've come across people who think he's very respectful.
Then there are players like Andy Roddick who consistently get the negative feedback about his arrogance, but that's another story.

Paradorn...harden up and hit more backhands! Way too much slice federer attacks it too easily.
jocabuzz 3 years ago
his slice on this indoor court stays low, bounces low, penetrates deep, and has pace. there is nothing wrong with it
sovietroulette 3 years ago
Lol. Federer pats him on the ass at the net at the end. Don't know if that was accidental or what?
jocabuzz 3 years ago
What a fantastic match, Paradorn could of been anything if he wasn't injured alot and was 100% committed to the sport.
