Bobby Espinosa, a keyboard player who helped create El Chicano" has died. He was 60.
Espinosa died Saturday night after a long illness.
Along with other local Latino bands War and Tierra, El Chicano played a funky, jazzy mix of R&B and pop music tinged with salsa. An offshoot of an East L.A. cover band called the VIPs, El Chicano quickly gained a following in 1970 with Viva Tirado, Part I, a riff on a jazz recording by Gerald Wilson
The arepa is a cake dough or cornmeal flattened circular, usually eaten grilled or fried. It is a traditional dish of Venezuelan and Colombian cuisines. The open and you can accompany with your imagination and your taste will allow.
@alviseduardo i'm Salvadoran and Mexican and i have tried Arepas from both Colombia and Venezuela there really good in El Salvador they make something similar called Pupusas . btw this songis one of El Chicanos best tracks reminds me like i'm in the 60s in the Chicano movement .

It is very good song, but come up to Cayuco. In sta song can appreciate a prayer "I want my arepa" is followed by la calle cardenal.

Es muy buena canción, pero suban al Cayuco. En sta canción se puede apreciar una oración "Yo quero mi arepa" le sigue la calle cardenal.
