Let Ron Paul prove that you are right to vote him in and to trust him to get the USA back in front, where it should be, not back to front. Aussie Tom.
After Obama got elected people around the world rejoiced. That year it seemed we can do everything together. People from accross the world would work hand in hand to defeat economic and natural disasters, stop wars and opression, put money where it belonged.
3 years later. I found out why my country is tied to America, why Osama and Ghadafi got murdered, why the rest of the world doesnt give a damn about people and that we are facing a new cold war era... that is about to become very hot.
@USEYAHOO ANd now you tell me THAT there actually is a man that wanted to do the right thing all along? See what media empires do to the people? They dont inform you they blind you and force you into submission.
After all those Bush-Epic-FAILS of government I think two things should happen:
1. Give this man an honest chance at the elections.
2. Prosecute G.W. Bush Jr. and all of his treacherous establishment for what they did to the world. There shouldnt be such things as political whatever IMMUNITY... you fucked up you pay the prize asshole. G.W.B. pulled a hit and run on the whole world.
I like where the guy in the video says, " we only have those rights we are willing to defend." Ron Paul is the only candidate running who wants to defend the constitution. The rest of them just want to defend the status quo and they treat the constitution like its just a piece of paper.
I hope so , even if he will become president can t make all that he say right now, like Obama can t , but at list can do much more that the last 3 presidents of US did, especialy to repair thedamage that Bush did! But I feel thingsare going to change and soon , but before we will have Peace we will have war! I hope im wrong, but the way the things going right now , im afraid we are heading to a NEW WORLD ORDER! SOME people from US ,Israel and othercountries wants an WAR!
"The historical cycle seems to be: From bondage to spiritual faith; from spiritual faith to courage; from courage to liberty; from liberty to abundance; from abundance to selfishness; from selfishness to apathy; from apathy to dependency; and from dependency back to bondage once more."
Im from Romania , and I believe Americans should wake up and stop the wars start all around the world: We Europeans don t hold weapons in the house to defend ourtselves, why should we? to have more crime coz this is what is happening in US ! We do not think to invade other country if doesn t goes after our rules! The war in IRAQ was for OIL and seems like the one from IRAN will be the same, but this time we will face a global war; Ron Paul is the only candidate to save this world as I see it!
there is hope! I'm from North Carolina and my generation(teen-young adults) do not want us to have 900 military bases around the world, especially when we are shutting bases down in our own country. personal freedom and military isolationism is strong in my generation. even if Paul doesn't win, his ideas will.
Ron Paul has ZERO chance!!!!!!!!!!!! Suck it up and deal with it. All you idots who post these Ron Paul 2012 comments just need to STFU!!!!!!!! All your campaigning, money donation, and whatever else you do is NOT GOING TO HELP!!!!! Ron Paul is NOT GOING TO WIN. Get that through your dumb heads
Mitt is going to be the GOP nominee and he will lose to Obama, which means four more years of OBAMA!!!!!!!!
I do admit that Ron Paul has some good ideas and he is consistent but there is no way he is going to get my vote. He is way to religious and not accepting of proven scientific facts says something about where our country will go technologically with him as a president. He also doesn't acknowledge the separation of church and state which is also disturbing. Vote republican if you want Theocracy, vote Ron Paul if you absolutely want Theocracy.
@DivineMoleculeDMT Are you kidding me? This is a guy who wants drugs to be legalize on a large scale, He wants equal rights for Gays, and has openly came out and said he doesn't know enough about evolution to believe or disbelieve it. You really need to do more research about him
@MrSocialandPolitical Trust me , I have done plenty of research on Ron. What I have heard him say is that Evolution and Global warming are still just theories even though they are proven facts in the scientific community. To not accept the FACT of evolution is like still holding the belief that the earth is flat and only 5000 years old. Also how can you be a Libertarian and not be OK with abortion? I thought he believed people should have there own liberty and freedom.
@DivineMoleculeDMT so who do you support instead? i understand the points you make as i am an atheist myself, but regardless of some of the more iffy points of his ideas, when it comes to the things that are most important, such as our economy, our foreign policy, the relationship between government and corporation, our freedom, etc., he's the only viable candidate. Obama is limiting our freedom, ruining our economy worse, playing for the lobbyists, etc. so who do you support?
@eboyd32 At this point in time I really dont know who to vote for. I agree 100% with Ron on the Wars, Drug policy, and the Fed. When it comes to getting rid of the EPA, no taxes, ending abortion, and many other things its a huge turn off for me. Libertarianism is a horrible social philosophy that wont work for many reasons imo.At the same time Obama ( who I voted for) has been nothing but a corporate spokesman and a very good defender of the banks. So I really dont know who to support.
@DivineMoleculeDMT i think Libertarianism is a good philosophy when paired with the right things. for example, cutting all regulations including taxes but maintaining support for large corporations is bad imo, even when it means no promise of a bailout. however, when we have plans in place to, say, open more cooperatively owned businesses, or other plans to help the growth of small and/or democratically operated businesses i think it's a good policy (libertarian socialism).
@DivineMoleculeDMT that said, i think that there aren't any viable options, but Ron Paul is not only the closest thing to a viable option in this election, but he is the closest thing to a viable option in a very long time. i can't remember the last election that didn't come down to the options "absolute doom" vs. "a little less, but still substantial amount, of doom" lol. with Ron Paul it's at least "some recovery with a touch of batshit insanity sprinkled in" :D
Ron Paul should run as an Independant... The sheer fringe idiocy from the Republicans will never get him the nomination (just see the reaction from the crowd on his comment of not being a dick to other countries if they can be cunts back)...
Even as an independant (Paul/Nader ftw), I doubt he would win, but he is just sane enough to force the Democratic party into actual left-of-center liberalism they are supposed to be...
Just fringe-right v center-right just doesn't do...
I watched this and it did not change my vote either. The Republicans, as a group, talk as if they are on the side of the middle class American (and those even poorer), but when (IF, in almost every case) you watch what they do, it is without exception to work to make the rich richer and the poor poorer, not to mention their kindergartenish blocking (nyah nyah nyah) of any bill proposed by the democrats, no matter what it is. I'd vote for SATAN before I'd vote for ANY republican.
Not to mention what Ron said, about evolution: "It's a theory and I don't accept it." So, like most of the Republicans, he's either batshit crazy or just really really ignorant, take your pick. He does not support the separation of church and state. He wants abortion to be illegal in all situations. He promotes discrimination for religious reasons. And you'd like me to SUPPORT this clown? I won't, not him or any of the other Republican candidates. They're all peas in a pod.
If there were TWO (or more) democratic candidates running, I might very well vote for one of the other ones over Obama, in fact I probably would. But that ain't happening. At least I'm not dumb enough to vote for a republican who will actively work to make my life harder than it already is.
@leisulin How does Ron Paul want to make your life harder than it already is? Obama and the rest of the Democrats are just left wing versions of the right wing status quo candidates. Nothing ever changes. Ron Paul is the only one in decades that wants to help "the people"...
Like all the republicans he SAYS he wants to "help the people" but he's LYING. The last thing the republicans (or Ron) want to do is "help the people". DON'T LISTEN TO WHAT THEY SAY, WATCH WHAT THEY DO. He wants to help continue the spread of religious-based ignorance with his insane perspective on how the universe works, he would be HAPPY if the U.S. became a theocracy, and that certainly would make my life harder than it already is.
@leisulin Yeah, look at what he does....and has done for the 30 years in congress... Consistently fought for personal liberties. Your right to choose your own beliefs and him choosing his own.
Oh yeah, like he wants to let women choose whether to have an abortion or not. He wants to let them choose their own beliefs while he chooses his own on that topic, eh? Uh-huh. Nor does he support the separation of church and state. Which means he'd like to make my choice for me on that topic as well. I'm afraid you have an inflated vision of how much Ron wants to fight for personal liberties.
@leisulin Yeah, that decision makes your life harder? He fights to allow the states to choose whether or not abortion is legal, which is miles ahead of the proposed federal ban.... Id love to see one video or one vote that shows him supporting the merging of church and state.... He wants to cut a trillion dollars from the budget (which combats inflation), end the wars (which jeopardize our troops lives foolishly), end the income tax (which gives you control over your money). All sound helpful.
I guess he's good at talking out both sides of his mouth then (like some of the other candidates), and shouldn't have signed the Personhood USA pledge, which states, in part, "I believe that in order to properly protect the right to life of the vulnerable among us, every human being at every stage of development must be recognized as a person possessing the right to life in FEDERAL AND state laws without exception and without compromise." Google it.
Oh and maybe I didn't get your meaning right away....if you meant you think there's not much difference between Obama and SATAN, then I can conclude two things: 1) whichever one becomes the democratic candidate, Obama or SATAN, I won't have to reconsider my vote, since they're roughly equivalent, and 2) you're one of the batshit crazies, like Ron and the rest of the republican peas in the pod.
I dont know im not saying personaly hes bad im just saying personaly i beleive a politician is a politician but who knows he might be a good president thats possible

Ron Paul 2012!
He stands against bills like SOPA, NDAA and the Patriot Act.
Less government spending, less taxation, and a budget plan that works.
This man has been fighting for your freedom and the separation of congress from big business for years.
He has fought against the war on drugs, foreign wars, the federal reserve, and corporate bail outs.
He's no racist: search "The compassion of Dr. Ron Paul" or look at the words of Walter Williams and Nelson Linder.
Spread this message!!!
