One of the most beautifully shot movies of all time, the cinematography is incredible. Add in great performances by Casey Affleck, Brad Pitt, and even Sam Rockwell, and this movie is seriously over looked and its a shame.

Casey Affleck and Brad Pitt are amazing in this film. At first I couldn't really picture Brad Pitt as Jesse James, but he did a really great job. Casey was excellent in the murder scene also!

But on a lighter note, anyone find Robert Ford's knowledge about Jesse James kinda creepy? It's like he was stalking him or something. lol

as much as No Country for Old Men is 1 of my favorite movies.....AND Jarvier Bardem was AMAZING as well....i did root for Casey Affleck, because he blew my mind seeing this movie.

All the actors did, but him especially...it was either HIM...or a serial killer who barely talks but just looks ULTRA creepy.

i wanted both to win, but felt Affleck deserved it a lil bit more....BUT...it went to Bardem.

Totaly agree with you.. Casey should have gotten this. So many different moods with Robert Ford, like frustration happiness, scared, brave, jealous, impressed, meanwhile Bardiem just being a serial killer and scared of nothing. Bardiem was amazing aswell but I think Casey deserved it much more. And in my opinion its the most prestigous to win an Oscar for supporting actor of all the Oscars.

Very true. Don't get me wrong, Bardem did deserve it, I just feel Affleck had a lot more to convey to the audience and so his work impressed me more. I'd also cite Paul Dano who was sadly snubbed for his great work in There Will Be Blood. But that's okay because you can never totally count out Anton Chigurh.
