@yetendekai there are plenty of bad movies that make money at the box office. Avatar is the highest grossing movie of all time, buts its no Citizen Kane. Fireproof was just dishonest: the characters are unrealistic and cartoonish, making it hard to identify with any of them seriously. In an action movie, this would have been okay, because that genre relies upon spectacle, and not human drama. Fireproof, however, addresses a serious issue, divorce, and simplifies it beyond recognition.

He is relentless. I LOVE IT! She was so evil. She went from hurt and angry to just plain evil. But He loved her right back into wholeness. I just LOVE IT! God is AWESOME just like this.

I don't want to take anything away from the movie, but I just noticed taht when Kathryn puts on her wedding ring, she puts it on the wrong hand. When you see it in the next part, it is on the correct hand, though.

@Galilee1964 Actually, I just watched it again. at 7:52 it is going on the correct (left) hand, at 7:59 it is still on the correct hand, but at 8:09 it is on the (right) wrong hand.

the wife did so many things wrong, but somehow the husband gets the blame. she flirted with a married co-worker, complained to her friends about her husband, and was viscious and cruel to him. he was not as bad at all and she, although he did look at porn and was aggressive towards her.

true, but this wasn't about finding blame in someone else. there are still two people in a marriage and sometimes someone has to decide to change and in this it was the man. Same thing happened to me and my husband. I was the one who changed although my husband fell in love with another woman. It's worth it, trust me it is.
