i was there at the age of 17!!! a legendary gig,we old farts still talk about... there was a very strange mood in this venue(Städel-art-school),which didn't get better,when a few guys just fell over unconscious or vomiting- victims of the strange deep-frequencies TG produced.. the wineattack was the tip of the iceberg.. i never saw anyone mad as genesis, jumping into the audience,looking for a victim and grabbing an innocent friend of mine.we were deeply impressed...

This song is on TG+, the Frankfurt gig being on there, but the crude sound of it here is almost better I think. I don't know, from the nature of the recording, the quality of the sound... you almost get an impression of how loud it must have been? You can hear the lyrics a lot better on the TG+ remastered version, however.

Yeah, this is "Something Came Over Me" and you can actually find it (albeit in audio form) on TG+ which is Throbbing Gristle's final ten live performances. I think the Frankfurt gig is on the fifth CD.

Deciphering the title of the song is a futile debate (or so im informed), from what I have read TG almost NEVER performed the same sing the same way twice. Many songs were improvised on the spot e.g. "Discipline". They even butchered their own recorded material when playing it live. I doubt this song is anything other than what Genesis wanted to expresss at the time od performance.
