yeah, it really is a "classic Jack" moment and you wouldn't get that unless you followed the show. it may not be a show like Lost where you absolutely cannot miss a second, but it is different than Tosh.0 or Sunny in Philly, in that a lot of this humor is REALLY subtle and you have to know the characters to get it. I often find myself having to pause the show and wiki the references because some of these references that these slip into this show are pretty high brow fancypants humor.
well here's the thing, bud. your humor palette is FUCKED. i know this because your screen name is a reference to the South Park "Towely", who is admitted (by the creators or SP!) as being the worst character ever created. ever.
You don't get this because you've probably never watched the show. no, not like "seen" the show, but followed it and watched it diligently. They have a series of running jokes, Jack in a tux is at inappropriate times is one. You don't get it and you never will.
@mamakunem Instead of addressing my point and concern with you not knowing the words, you instead take shots at me, randomly calling my mentality a "poor train of thought" and saying that I don't know the words I asked you to look up the definition of. I'm done conversing with you, for you are way too stupid to actually talk to. Sorry dumb dumb, sucks to suck. Stay dumb. I'll stay a genius.
@mamakunem HAHHA you have proved in this reply that 1. you don't know the definitions of irony or sarcasm and 2. you suck at English and explaining things to people.
Stick to being an arrogant retard. I'm much more intelligent than you to see through this shit show for what it really is, a shit show. Sucks you can't. Stay dumb kid.
I'm confused. Why is this joke so funny if the reason it's funny is because it's so random? Maybe "random" humor isn't funny to me. Or maybe jokes that aren't actually funny aren't funny to me. One of the two...
@towely08 Well actually the main reason that the joke is funny is because Liz Lemon (Tina Fey) spent the entire episode scrambling around doing things without his help (unsuccessfully might I add) because she thought he was busy that night. Turns out he wasn't busy; he is just really pretentious. The line about the farmers was being used to emphasize that. It wasn't random. It was hilarious.
well if steve martin isn't allowed at new orleans jazzfest ever again well i blame the oscars for bleeding us so mush, ity's thrue liz lemon, i can see charlton heston's beach from my loft...ffs
i got your where the fuck is my man black man who speaks in m,icrobucks he's got an entourage parkes sideways garage like two obama worhers who should walk their ass Tracy Morgan
I will only be happy with America if we put Jack Donaghy, Barney Stinson, Perry Cox, and Stephen Colbert in office! Not only will things get done. . but it will get done in suits!! :)

Ha ha, not. If you yanks looked outside your belly buttons & for this style of comedy - you might already know the far superior British comedy, maybe then you would realise this is as common a joke as exists. PS. I am not British, no particular affection for England either.
Your yank land is funniest for South Park & Family Guy, etc... Bill Hicks, R. Pryor, amongst the dead, and House, of course - oh wait, he also is British, w/ an almost perfect accent...
