i have 4 baby syrian hamster something like 13 days.in 1/2/2011 the mother was old and weak to feed them,so she died,and now i and my mom are feedding them with 1% milk....if you know something please help me..

@simloverfever They might do just fine, you're not supposed to seperate them at that age, but being the mother is dead I think they'll be fine as long as they're more than a week or two old 13 days is close enough...I pray for the best

may i ask, one mummy syrian can give birth to different colours of syrians ? is that a possibility that if i were to mate one of this with the same colour of syrian , and give out different colours of litters as well ? possible right ?

@18Khairunnisa It all depends on the genetic, one of my Hamsters had 8 different colorations in only one litter and 3 different fur patterns (Tortoiseshell and White, Tortoiseshell and Banded) and still 2 of them without any fur pattern, it was a litter of 17 and luckly they all survived, I was so worried, they were too many, but I know about genetic since I'm a professional breeder, so, it's easy for me to plan a litter with a lot of colorations, but still, 8 different colorations is really goo

So cute! My hamster had her 6 babies about 5 days ago! It could be 6 because the night before, she was in her nest, and wasn't on the wheel at all. But, she could of been resting. Then when I came home from school. 6 litle babies, I saw! =P

The big one is Toffee, their mum. Their dad was called Zamora, and he was a silver syrian hamster, so we were very suprised to get such a variety of colours. Sunny Bubbles was the black lad with the white rings around his eyes and he was very friendly. We separated the babies into boy and girl cages shortly after this video and they went off to their new owners a couple of weeks later in separate cages. Although our lovely lovely Zamora is no longer with us, Toffee is an old lady now!
