As you could hear at the beginning of this video, the US DDG sounds the 5 short warning blasts to the Iranians. If in international waters, the us warships feel threatened by small boats, it is in their rights to take defensive tactical measures. I say shoot now and ask questions later- small boats are pests in the straits- remember the Cole. It will NOT happen again.

Sometimes I feel that the best way to treat 2 warring (or about to go to war) factions, as if they were 2 little toddlers going on tantrums and fighting. It was 1 of the US ships involved in this matter. I have good friends who were onboard when the happened. Despite whatever video and audio was faked, I assure you patrol boats from Iran did provoke and pose a threat to our ships in international waters. The event happened.
