im in the bodybuilding supplement industry, im a retailer of bodybuilding goods, i often go to alot of there martial arts fights, ultimate fighting etc, its really exploding right now, if this guy can get enough finance to get involved with advertising with ultimate fighting, then his brand i guarantee will make it, i completely get his concept and theres a good chance it will succeed.
@yardape99 Well that's not entirely true. He did get good advice to have some of the stars wear it. No design has anything to do with anything until its endorsed by Pro Athletes.
The real trouble is that art concepts like this are not very profitable. Art is beautiful to look at and sometimes it's beautiful to wear, but in the end it's art. It's not functional and anyone can buy a shirt and put a design on it.
There's actually more people making money from putting my designs on the shirt than I'll ever make on the design itself.
The economy excuse needs to end. Sure it's a lot tougher than other parts in history for an industry like this. My company got funding "granted we're in tech" yet come on we got it very quickly with the right idea.

i think the hardest part for anyone who invented a product or started a clothing line or a business is to let go and move on to the next thing. I felt bad for the kid at the end, he was expecting a million bux and to accept a 20$ from the shark would a been humiliating
I had my own clothing brand it was for soccer and there was a demand and it failed. It was super smart for sharks not to invest
