you should never heat honey to 130 degrees that destroys the natural enzymes and lipids in the honey and makes it nearly useless. only eat raw, unheated honey. processed honey is garbage and a huge waist of the bee's efforts.

Next, there are TWO layers of frames, one set removable, the other not, seperated by a grid that allows the workers to pass, but not the queen. This lower set of combs contain the larvae and honey, and is NOT harvested. The top combs are "surplus" and because of the grid, guaranteed to be larvae free.
