Just found your channel. I liked the review. I bought some C Products magazines a year ago and loaded several up with rounds. One of the magazines exploded. The side fell off and the follower went shooting across the room. I will only buy PMAGS from here on out. The only problem I have now is the fact I have like 10 of the C Product fuckers.... Lol
I honestly have so much stuff I wanna put on my m4 from magpul but I just dont have the $ yet. When my m4 is done its gonna look beast+ it's gonna have a hybrid sight like the one in mw3 that I got on sale for $86
@mva1985 Well if you can tell me where to go to have them made I would do so. It would be really cool to get some patches made and sell them at cost to people who want them.
FYI THE OD GREEN MAGS are older mags. You can tell by counting the inserts on the side there are 4 on the old and 3 on the new, also looking on the date on the side of the mag as well.

@jopoy456 The orange you are seeing is the indicator which lets you know how many rounds are in the magazine. There are numbers on the side of the PMAG, when the orange indicator lines up with those numbers you know how many rounds you have left.
@timothychong48 If anything is going to stand out it will probably be the black of my rifle. Black stands out like a sore thumb against natural shrubs and trees. Don't get me wrong the FDE helps but there is still a lot of black left on my gun.
if your interested in low price pmags in od green look at DSG arms they have a going green sale and the od green pmags are like 10 dollars maybe 11 with out windows and like 13 i think with windows
@vcpitcher18 Oh I've ordered plenty of PMAG's from DSGarms. This is actually the fist time I've ordered magazines from anyone else. The nice thing about DSG is they give a discount to people who are in law enforcement and those who serve. Thanks a lot either way, if you have any other suggestions just let me know.

Ouch I have a C products mag (10 round tho) with black followers and I get jams frequently.. I've been told the orange mags were the ish for C products.. Put some videos up on how they do.. When I go out I plan on running all my mags and to show and see my self how they run..
@mrmidnight32 You're getting jams with the GI style magazines? That's weird. I thought these were the types of magazines you could trust your life with. Well I hope mine function better than yours, I'll be a little upset if they jam constantly. I'll try and remember to put a decent number of rounds through these when I go shooting to see how they function, and then I'll get back to you. It's a good thing I only bought 3.
@MustyYetisTacticalHQ I havnt shot them just cycled some dummy rounds and like every 3 I got a mal function. My buddy had the same exact mag as mine but has the orange follower and it seems to do pretty well.. So if your is like mine just replace them with some orange followers.. I heard those make all the difference. But yea good luck and maybe when fired rather than cycled they feed properly but I havnt had time to take my AR out yet.

@trenttyre Yes I did. Like I told someone earlier, the FDE are the newer model of PMAG than the OD Green. Besides the windows being different sizes the indented squares are different too. I guess PKFirearms had some left over stock of the older PMAG's and thought they would pawn it off on me. Oh well it doesn't really matter, they both function flawlessly.
@LDMoss21 You know I was actually planning on doing a video to show how the FDE of the C Products Mags, match the FDE of the Magpul parts on my rifle. I was just waiting for someone to ask, looks like someone finally did. I'll probably have that video uploaded sometime soon, seeing as there isn't much content to cover.
@phork702 I guess i can't say that PMAG's ever "impressed me" but they've never let me down. The only way I could say they've impressed me is if I ran them over with a car and then used them, which I'll never do. I've enjoyed mine and they've functioned flawlessly. I have noticed the FDE finish on the C Product magazines wears off fairly quickly. If you really abused these things the color would be gone before you knew it.

@masterchief3737 Yeah I figured if I get 15, 30 round magazines, for each platform I'll be ok. That's not a crazy unreachable amount, it's definitely reachable... especially with the low cost of the C Products GI magazines. I hope to god you're wrong about the ban actually coming. Take care man.

@BeanDip0913 OH, haha, funny story. Well I put a stop on the AK build. I really didn't like the way the tactical parts looked on the AK, it lost it's traditional AK look. So I'm taking the parts off and I'll get another, cheaper, Ak down the road and move the parts over. The Arsenal has a true Russian made receive so I think I owe it to the gun to keep it traditional. Sorry it might be a little while before the new AK project is done.
@redmule02 Well I'm hoping the C magazines work flawlessly. I just can't get over how different the FDE color is between the two, it's crazy. Obviously the PMAG matches the rest of my Magpul gear on my AR, but thankfully the Cmag matches great too. I just need to buy a few more until I reach my number of 15 mags for the AR, I figure that's a good amount of mags.
If you haven't found out yet, you do have the new Pmags... Kind of confusing how the dust covers clip on the bottom and hard to snap on. The order model as far as I know did not have the cover at all, in other words there is only one model with the covers, I could be wrong on that. Also, for mags, check out 44mag Dot com, great deals and they have 100s of mags always in stock.
@MrSteve65 Well I know the dust covers are an old thing because I have a set of the old PMAG's with the smaller indented squares and it came with a dust cover. Then the second generation PMAG's came with the larger squares and a dust cover. Heck just look at the difference between the OD Green and FDE mags, they are different generations, Like you said I could be wrong. I'll definitely check out 44mag(dot)com and see what they have for magazines. Thanks.
@MustyYetisTacticalHQ I stand corrected then on the Gen of Pmags, I guess I just don't remember having that cover about 2 years ago on the 5 I had, that I sold. I just got back into 5.56 (I was on the 6.8) and my new Pmags (that I got 2 weeks ago), the cover does fit on the bottom... Not that I would use the covers, other then "maybe" storage on loaded mags, they will be removed when in mag pouches. Take care.

@SwoopdySwoop Well the PMAG's do have a little extra bulk which is why they are so durable. The rights magazines are your typical mil-spec magazines that are issued to the military. However these are steel and the military issued magazines are aluminum. I'm surprised you didn't say anything about the massive color difference between the two. Obviously the PMAG matches my Magpul stuff but the C Products magazines match very well too. They are a nice cheap 30 round magazine.
