I completed all levels in the "SPECIAL" area but nothing changed. If I use the final star behind the 8th level I'm just ported back to Yoshis house lol

....I've said before that the GBA version is different. You have to 100% the game to get the changes.

Apart from TUBULAR, all the special levels are easily completed, but I love the way at the end of FUNKY, The coins say "YOU ARE A SUPER PLAYER!!"

But its disappointing that you cant change it all back, don't know what the makers were hoping to accomplish with this.

Plus, all the koopa enemys look like mini marios!!!

Getting there is one of the most annoying things...EVER! Ok this is what you do

1:get 2 capes and a blue yoshie

2:either fly REALLY high or like I did fly over all the obsticals then at the end of the level fly under the level ending thing

Thats right. You either have to fly high enouph over it or fly rightunder it to get to Soda Lake.

ok at 1:54-55 on the bootom bridge theres a plant that leads you to another level. How did you get that? if anyone can answer my question i would greatly appreciate it :)

I have answered this question before but I will repeat it just for you. :)

Go to the "Cheese Bridge Area" with a yoshi. Then go to the end of the level and jump under the goal post, and then jump off yoshi. You should end up on the other side of the goal post, and behind it is a moon (3up) and another goal post. Hit it and you will then get the beanstalk that leads to soda lake.

I was talking to my girlfriend about this game over the phone and she just bought it used and made a comment like "Gosh these men with mustaches keep killing me!" being the asshole i am i quickly informed her that she was "wrong" and there could be no such thing and that I played this game so much longer than her and I know it very well.

Once you find all the dragon/yoshi coins they turn into peach coins in the gba version if I do remember correctly.

I completed special and nothing happened. Do I have to complete all the other levels first? I've finished 95 of the 96 levels, including special and star road, and found all the secret exits. I'm playing the GBA version, which is identical.

lol I just explained in part 2. Yes they changed that in the gba version. You have to find all 96 exits.

Ok, beat bowser, didn't do it, realised I had found a secret exit but not a normal exit in donut plains secret 1, did that, did it :) Thanks for the video, it was a real incentive to continue. Btw, in the gba version, pokeys turn into grey things at the end :/

Yes, I know. I have the gba version. I didn't like how they made some changes to game. For instance, giving Mario voice and making luigi like SMB2. It really seems odd....just my opinion. Anyway, glad you could find my vids useful. :D

Personally, I thought the changes improved it, I USED to own it on the SNES. Now that Luigi can jump better but has way less traction, it adds a more tactical element to the characters, rather than just a palette swap. Anyway, awesome vid, thanks a lot :)
