Lawl, yea, boycott the buisness responsible so that they have no money, forcing the goverment to clean it up themselves, and raising taxes so that they have enough money to do so. Screw the beach and the bird, I'd rather have money to put food on my table than starve to death while looking at a bird walk around on a clean beach.
@jhopperyoung2334 Okay, if your opion is making taxes higher just to clean some beaches, thats fine. While you're saving the beaches other people who don't have the massive income to pay for the higher taxes go bankrupt and end up in a breadline, or resort to stealing, therefore being sent to prison. Which makes taxes higher to pay the law enforcement to catch these new criminals, or is spent on food for the poor. Indeed, making that sand sparkle was worth it. Not.
@NeverGoToBP I know it's a sad video but it's nothing compared to what is coming in weeks and months to come I can't believe our government let this spill go on for so long dicking around with lame excuses and relying on an oil company to have our best interest in mind!

OK use Shell instead. No wait they just paid out $15.5 million in compensation after murdering YES! that was murdering writer Ken Saro-Wiwa and eight other leaders of the Ogoni tribe of southern Nigeria who protested against a shell pipeline. Maybe ask yourself why America witn 4% of the worlds population uses 25% of the worlds oil. This is why you are destroying the enviroment, this is why you invaded Iraq. You have only yourselves to blame.
@spdfrkmr2 BP has nothing to do with the stations- they sold it over 5 years ago. Personally I would never buy anything BP but I think we need to punish the people responsible and not a hard working family that purchased part of a franchise . @jhopperyoung2334 Well,.. I'm not sitting around for 5 years to Boycott this, and besides, gas stations don't buy gas 5 years in advance. I will remove this video soon, it was made almost one month ago, boycotting BP is an angry reaction and not the answer, perhaps the best thing to do is to employ people that know how to manage a disaster. One third of the homeless in the US are veterans why don't we kill two birds with one stone and give them jobs to help organize the Gulf clean up?
Please people, DONT boycott BP, you wont do any damage, this company makes billions of dollars a month,if you boycott your local bp all you do is affect the honest poeple that work at your local community.
@andrew09211 Maybe you are right, after all its the gov. that screwed us when they let BP get as big as it did. It just feels wrong supporting anything with that label up there. It is a very frustrating choice. I do feel sorry for the folks that own the franchise, hopefully BP will take care of them as well as all the others that no longer have a way of life.
Many jobs have already been lost and Gulf Shorelines will eventually be destroyed, thousands of birds and other wildlife will be killed, people are already getting very sick, folks the fact is it's too late to make it stop. Show your disgust while out at work, play or just at home, Let's get people talking!

@kaley3646 Please people, DONT boycott BP, you wont do any damage, this company makes billions of dollars a month,if you boycott your local bp all you do is affect the honest poeple that work at your local community.
I was shocked today. Near my house, there are two gas stations about one hundred yards apart, a Shell and a BP. Their gases were the exact same price. When we drove past the BP, there were people getting gas there... it was sad. I don't get why you would buy from somebody who destroys our coasts and wildlife when there is another gas station so close. Though, there was a small spark of hope, the BP had maybe 4 customers at the moment and luckily the Shell had a good estimation of 15.
@pikacunut From 1978 to 1995, Shell Oil produced pipes made out of polybutylene, which corrode when chlorine runs through them. Since the pipes burst, millions of home owners have had flooded homes.
In 2008, a new lawsuit was opened against Shell Oil Company in Houston, Texas for alleged Clean Air Act violation.......
@JimthereT So we agree, our dependency on oil needs to end somewhere. Perhaps now is the time people will wake up and put some laws into effect to force us into converting to alternative energy sources. Whatever happened to the invention of the car that used water instead of gas? Why doesn't Ford dust the damn thing off and start manufacturing that.
@pikacunut Wow another one.....i suppose your driving an electric vehicle or you dont own a car....or you just like to jusp on the band wagon when the time seems right. You will forget about this come christmas when you drive your family to the shopping mall in the mini van. Google "shell $15m settlement over Nigeria killings" Shell is just as fucking bad yet you want people to go there instead? What kind of hypocricy is that? More.....
@pikacunut Shell and the military dictatorship of Nigeria have earned billions at the expense of the people of the Niger Delta, who now live in extreme poverty, and have lost many traditional sources of livelihood. From Ogoniland, an area about 404 square miles, Shell has extracted $30 billion worth of oil in the last 30 years, yet the region lacks functional hospitals, roads, steady electricity, and pipe-borne water.
@pikacunut Allow me to sum all this up.....for you its ok to buy gasoline from a company that kills and deprives niggers but its not ok to buy gasoline from a company that kills wildlife and puts fishermen on welfare?
Shell has imported weapons for the Nigerian military!
@pikacunut Yesterday I needed to buy gas driving back from Miami toward Daytona Beach as I drove off an exit to fill up I had the choice of several gas stations to choose from, one of which was BP, there was only one car at BP and the others had many customers thank goodness some people are making the right choices. But you are right, how could anyone give BP one penny after what has happened!
this is phase 2 0f 911. This country is being taken over silently and the people brought to their knees. its not conspiracy no more when the tree bares the fruit.
@JimthereT same with the Iraq war, remember when everyone drove around with the US flag attached to their car? The war is still going on but it seems people have once again moved on to the next fad. How unfortunate.
We must boycott -- for these fine-haired sons of bitches will neither be charged nor tried in a U.S. criminal court. They'll be somewhat vilified by the corporate regime's broadcast media, be found civilly liable for some millions of In damages, which their counsel will bargain to a pittance already in next year's budget. Dost ye think me a wee bit pessimistic? Exxon's still here as are AIG and Goldman Sachs and the other major robber barons who own the U.S. After a boycott, let's light 'em up.
For over 40 days they have let the leak flow staggering amounts of oil into the gulf instead of taking care of business which is to protect our environment in my opinion and not the deep pockets of BP. Law or no law, this should have been given immediate attention to avoid the disaster that we are facing down the road. Who will explain to the kids this summer why they can’t go to the beach, or where did all the fish and animals go?
Boycotting BP will do more harm than help in the gulf. If BP is being forced to pay for the spill (which they are) then boycotting them will only make it harder for them to clean things up. @saintmj57 They will just change the name three,four....fifty times and you wont be able to keep uo with it and in the end you will be buying their gasoline once again.
The only problem I have with bocotting BP is that fact that a lot of the BP stations are operated by private individuals. People that have nothing to do with BP's mess, just that they buy the fuel for their station. So wouldn't boycotting them just put many of these local buisness owners out of business. Is that really the goal. I mean there has to be a better way.
@Kartkid024 There will be jobs when we start producing alternative energy solutions, speaking long term- oil will not sustain our planet. We need to make the change and become a nation with products made in the USA that export to renew our economy.
