Making an abstract painting 2 (and live-music)

Hi, I like your style, freedom and movement. How is your canvas pinned to the wall. Is it just hooked on screws or nails? I would think it would bounce around as you apply the paint.

my sister is 3 years old and she can make one of these! thats not art its only alot of paint. looks like a 3 year olds work to me!

You were using some kind of 'rakel' in another video. Is it made of metal or polycarbonate.?

@vanjanjan Sorry I used a Swedish word. It is like a squeegee used in screen printing or same principle. The one you were using appeared to be composed of a metal blade with wooden handle.Does the wooden part attach on top of the blade or is inserted in the wood. Thanks ,hope you uderstand what I mean.

@TheLaura1655 haha I looked it up and 'rakel' is a dutch word as well! Never heard of... The metal is inserted, with 2 angles bend lower than the wood...

Final Product = Looks like shit. There is no art in there at all. slamming paint around is not art. it is what people without talent do to hide the fact that they cant draw anything. And those who buy it, do so because they think they know art and want others to think they know something about art. However I laugh when ever I see this crap hanging up at peoples homes. It is the first indication that they have no class or real artistic knowledge.

@Dsr122076 being artist doesn't mean a painting has some realistic thing. beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. and how dare you for holding yourself to a higher standard than others just because "You" don't think something is tasteful. you don't need to need to do some Michealangelo stuff for it to be good, all you need is a creative mind.

@wlhbyVids You said it. creativity. This is far from it. i can trip and fall splattering some paint on a canvas, and to a regular moron it could look like a masterpiece too. It does not mean it is one. If you want to see an abstract painter look at Robert Joiner Look up Mixed Media Painting Demonstration in Youtube now that is art and abstract

so .... when does the actual painting begin? All i see is something my four year old with cerebral palsy does when she gets into paint. Since when does throwing around random colors in random places constitute art. If that were art, then every person on earth can create art.
