You can also get in through a little crevice in loch Modan. I've personally done it several times on a regular server. Sat on the gates of Ironforge and yelled at people!!!

Also, if you are an hunter, you can pass thru that cave sealed with mountain side. All you have to do is, push your RIGHT side to the wall, and your pet walks pass the wall. Then, use eyes of the beast :P

The airport was going to function as the Gnome starting area originally the gnomes were going to be on a continuous battle to retake Gnomeregan but was later stopped and moved to Steelgrill's Depot... Both the airport and Gnomeregan seem a little random if you wasn't a lore buff, but after being scrapped it's being used for Cataclysm now.

The top of Ironforge with the flag is supposed to symbolize Mount Everest, the tops looks the same and the flag is placed where the first flag on Mt. Ev. was placed.

Most of it is just there for show as you fly. Kind of like the camp site on top of Grim Batol. But I think places like the IF airport may have a more active in Cata when we get flying mounts. It seems like a fairly logical time to open it up.

Yea, it's either a private server or he's a game master. But the bugs/secret places/glitches are 100% true. I've been to all of them (On a live server). Old ironforge was supoose to be the current ironforge we have now. But blizzard never removed it. The airport, you have to walk through the mountains. Same with the flag thingy. And the little camp are hidden in the mountains also. Just look it up on youtube/google. Good video!

It was recorded on a private server (although all the locations exist in the normal game), and the flying mount is just a macro of a few GM commands.

type 'wow beez' in the search box,and watch the video of how to connect to the wow beez server.

log in,make a character and simple talk to a GM.I saw hykal that way,old ironforge,GM island,the islan south of tanaris and a few other spots.

fatigue on the server is disabled,you can use a DK with frost walking and run to the end of the world till your hearts content.

It's a private server and he is a GM... hence he can use the command to spawn a flying mount

THe mountian is my favorite place in the game.

There are a number of other small camps and a troll cave up around IF Mountian. And a pet trainer at IF Airport that can unlearn your pets talents for free.

ive been to old IF, the only way i know of is if you are a hunter, you can stand right to the side of the door, and use eyes of the beast, and just explore with your pet

4:02 As far as I'm aware, there is a tunnel behind that snowed in bit that you can see if you get up close to the cave in. The wall of ice glitches and you can see it. I'm not sure whats behind it though.

If you go on the realm Dawnbringer, make a horde character on it and whisper "gethann" i do raids but i'm usually not doing much, i'll happily show anyone who wants to know how to get ontop of IF...just make sure that you also make an allience character whom i will escort as the guards will kill you if you try to go up there on a level one horde.

Back in vanilla WoW you could bug yourself into old IF. I don't remember exactly how, but I believe we did the duel behind mailbox pillar bug, then ran over to the old seat and had a mage polymorph you, if you were lucky and the sheep walked into the door, it would actually walk straight through it.

when he went to ironforge airport those gryphons were the OLD way of getting from wetlands to if, their used to be a flight path you automatically got in the beta but they removed it, their slos is a small farming town in the mountains that is reachable from IF airport, which has a tunnel that has an endless drop, then once you go into it though it says your in ironforge, this is because their was a walking path from IF to the farming town to menethil harbour, DAMN NO MORE CHARACTERS FOR COMENT!

Dun Morough:Two young dwarves, one became king , one died yet of the remains. It says 'Help' on the side now, with a camp umbrella with a hole in the middle and remains left under. They marked with a flag, Ironforge!

You're right, you can't use a flying mount outside of Outland normally. It's a GM command on a private server.
