San Jose California.. not surprised one bit.. read..New allegations against San Jose coach accused of fondling swimmers The revelations pose questions about how thoroughly USA Swimming — the governing body for competitive swimming same as USA Hockey..
thanks for the comments. My daughter joined an all boys high school team. She did great. In fact playing contact sports made her a better hockey player. I think girls should learn a level of contact. thanks so much for your comments.
LeafsFanInOttawa -girls play dirty b.c they cant keep up with mens hockey. girls hockey is such a joke.hockey with out contact is intense figure skating.i got hacked in the ankle bout 20 times when we played girls.they suck
The St FX University women's team here played the AAA Midget boys local team which won the province last year dead even over 5 games. The top minor hockey girls play boys up to about Bantam AAA. Some get as far as Midget AA. Believe me they can play. We coach AAA Midget gitls here and they woiuld beat most AA and some AAA Bantam Boys.
look at wat u just said girls who r in the midget age group playing bantoms, and r they allowed to hit in these games? ive played against some teams wen i was younger that had a girl on it and i made sure i knew her number so that i did not hit her. u cant compare boys hockey to girls, boys r naturally more athletic, faster, stronger, nothing against girls but its genetics. ive been playing hockey since i was 3 and Jr hockey since i was 15 (now 17).
Please learn to read. I said some (top) girls play wiith boys up to about Bantam AAA PERIOD Some get as far as Midget AA PERIOD Yes there is hitting at Midget and Bantam. No coach would keep a girl at that level unless she was good enough.
thanks for the comment. I am now the team manager for a high school hockey team. So for any of those parents out there who get frustrated with a team just move on.. we love the basically all boys team. It has been great for my daughter.

That's the problem with girls and boys playing together in minor hockey. Girls get away with anything. I've seen it countless times in my league (spearing, can-opening, elbowing, slashing, cross-checking, hitting from behind, butt-ending, kicking), and girls get away with it, it's disgraceful.
