I'm confused... I thought the Americans didn't leave Italy for Tunisia due to not getting visas for Libya... but then how is Dave back in the picture? I watched him leave on the boat alone... so confused...

@BEANPOLE111 They were able to go to Tunisia but had to leave the group and fly to Egypt by themselves because they didn't have the visas for Libya and were not allowed in the country. They had the visas they needed for Tunisia and Egypt.

tidbit : The 1150 GS they used in LWR, about 75,000 units were produced in total. And the current model they used in LWD, 100,000 have been produced (and is still in production to-date). Compare those with the older 1100 GS's 40,000 units of total production. I bet KTM people kick themselves everytime someone compares their bikes to BMW. And I wonder what happened to the moron who said no to sponsoring the bikes :P
