@jathe5th The pipe came without the dB killer installed. It's not a very loud slip on.

@derdyserdy i have the same slip on exhaust on my 09 zx6r and i bought it like it its not loud at all because of the pre muffler on these bikes have you found anyway to make it louder????

@layngmbody I haven't tried making it louder, since I'm good with where it's at right now. I've shifted my focus more towards other aspects of the bike these days. Sometime next year I'll be replacing this slip on with a full Akrapovic system.

Great video! Exactly what I was looking for. I've got an old gsx1100g with stock 4-2 pipes and tomorrow it will be changed to a 4-1 Yoshimura. Can't wait!

@87apx It normally comes with turn signals (no break light), but they have an option where you can get just the fender eliminator without the turn signals for $20 less, which is what I did.

@87apx I would definitely say it's not too loud at night. I mean, unless you're the kind of guy that likes to roll around in 2nd gear everywhere. I absolutely LOVE this bike!

@janman2010 It was about $450 on eBay. I was dead set on an Akrapovic slip on until I thought about the price difference vs the actual power gain.

@janman2010 I feel like it was. I enjoy riding more now that it sounds much better, and it's a bit lighter...plus it looks bad ass, IMO. If you would have asked me that question a few years ago (before the Navy and broke), then I probably would have said, "No, $450 isn't worth looking and sounding cool". But I only would have said that because I couldn't afford it...hehe

Looks and sounds awesome! I was looking at the same color 6R and was planning to install the same Yoshi exhaust, but was looking at the full kit (not slip-on). That's how my bike WILL look, once I'm done with the 250R :) Perfect comparison video man - keep 'em coming.

@montague457 Someone more experienced than I advised me to look into something other than Yoshi for a full system on a 6R. When I go with a full system, I'll probably go Akrapovic (and cry because I'll be broke).
